I’m probably a bit late to the party as I couldn’t find the survey. I’m addicted to you! I completed the Town and Country quilt several years ago-I was fortunate to meet you in Houston and you helped me with the quilting of that quilt. My quilt won first place in the applique section of our local quilt show. I also find your Quilt To Go tutorial is the very best. Excellent presentations-clear and easy to follow. I enjoy doing smaller projects, but also very unique projects like the Town and Country quilt. Please keep the tutorials and unique patterns coming. Thanks so much!

Hello from Pennsylvania, U.S.A.! I am enjoying both your great tutorials and delightful humor. After many decades of knitting, I am venturing into the world of quilting. It's a wonderful new world for me and I have come to appreciate the feel and look of fabric as much as I do wool. What facinates me with your work is color usage. Would it be possible to do a video on color theory/how you choose colors? Each quilt you've shared is balanced and pops with color.

Ive just filled in your survey. I love your channel because you cover traditional techniques very straightforwardly but are yourself wonderfully truly creative. You inspire thinking outside the usual boxes. Yet produce lovely examples of traditionallybased projects in a variety of colourways. You are both encouraging , inspiring and genuinely helpful for me since I picked up patchwork and quilting again after many years laid by . Thank you.

Thank you for your videos. I make quilts and hand quilt them. Every one that I do, I try to push my skills. My favorite are scrappy quilts, but I’m a little challenged to make them have impact, not just look a bit like a mess.

Susan I've followed you for several years. In fact, I found your channel when I first began quilting, and you were my teacher back when I knew very little about quilting. I've learned many of the basics from you, which provided me with a good foundation in my quilting journey. By the way, I loved following your videos when you were in England, in the canal boat. I visited New Zealand several years ago, and you always remind me of the wonderful people I met while I was in your beautiful country. I'm going on now to complete your survey.

I have been following you for probably longer than what you really want to remember, but I don't think I've seen you showcase any chenille work. There is so much you can do with either a completely chenilled product, or even just one tiny little bias strip. I wonder what you could come up with. Wink, wink, hint, hint, say no more. Whatever it is you do, I always want to make it.
@GourmetQuilter3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much, great to have you here. You are right, I don't think I have done anything with chenille! I will put on my thinking cap!

Hi I’ve only seen very few of your clever demonstrations, having only last year sewn my very first large, too large in the end, quilt. For me it was sewing the rows together that caused me headaches. You make some quilt of medium size blocks do you also show how to then sew these together, that would help me and maybe other new sewers.

Bento quilt is divine!! Applique frustrates me unless it is done with the non-fusible stabilizer method. The needle turn just isn't for me unfortunately.

The Bento quilt has been made using fused raw edge applique, however it can be made any way, so much is personal preference.

Just looked at your survey. I wish you had included a few "all the above" boxes to tick, as I'm a beginner quilter who is working her way through new things all the time. So I can't complete it satisfactorily, sorry!
