In my opinion, this is BY FAR the best disappearing 9-patch video on KZbin!!! I like that all of your 5" squares are different in pattern and color. I also like that you turned the sewn & cut pieces in different directions for a very scrappy block look. I really like all the cheery colors of your fabrics, although the prints were made for children, they are bright and beautiful. It was very nice to see what sashing would look like around the blocks also. That was an unexpected bonus! I've been wanting to know what a scrappy disappearing 9-patch block would look like without having to cut up a lot of fabric to find out, but your video has really done a wonderful job showing so many unconventional combinations! Thank you so very, very much!!!

Thank you so much for this tutorial! As a beginner, I tend to get awfully messed up while creating my 9-patches, because sticking to this scant 1/4 inch seam already eats up plenty of my focus. It’s just a brilliant idea to leave those squares attached to each other, after chainpiecing the first row. That’s ging to help me a lot not getting confused all the time. I also love the multiple possibilities these blocks offer, in finding your very own design. Very helpful lesson. Regards from Germany
