The best thing to do is find one at one of many online retailers and have them send you the serial number then you can contact Autel through email or phone and have them verify the serial is one they recognize as being good.

Are all 3 906 models virtually the same as far as these functions go?

All three use the same diagnostic software and all three have the same exact functions, the TS version also has a full featured TPMS programming function and a built in ant to transmit the TPMS signal to activate the sensors. If you don't see yourself doing TPMS work then go with the 906BT if you want cordless connection or if you don't mind having a cord connect from the OBD connector to the scanner then the 906 is fine.

I had a snap on verus wireless and sold it and got this one and the two things I miss is the troubleshooter and the connector views. Other than that this one does more, was cheaper, and the updates are cheaper.

People get rid of things for different reasons, could be money issues, they have no use for it, they are going to prison and they won't let them bring it with them, and numerous other reasons people get rid of stuff. For instance I am selling my Snap on verus fully updated because my Autel has much more capability.

I don't think so, I have changed things before and never had a problem but the snap on I think is just buggy.

I would say yes if money is important, the main things I miss about my snap on is the built-in help such as connector views and troubleshooter but for the little amount of money the Autel cost me vs the snap on I can do without the snap on goodies.

I would go with the Autel, in fact depending on what you do keep in mind the update plans. For instance, if I had to do it again I would go with the MS906BT as opposed to the MS906TS simply because I do not do any TPMS work but when I buy my yearly update I have to pay $100.00 more for my update because of the TPMS software. The MS906BT is the same thing as mine but without the TPMS built in. Either way my update is only $550.00 which is cheap compared to snap on but the BT is only $450.00.

So... admin it... you still don't know how to operate this "scanner"? Why are you doing a VIDEO of something that you don't know how to operate 100% and don't know what you doing? whats the sense of this video?....

This video was NOT intended to be a instructional tutorial on how to operate the Autel scanner, as it was a new scanner for me at the time I would have liked someone to have done a similar video before I bought my snap on so I could have at least seen some of the options and functions this scanner provides. I do apologize if you are too ignorant to understand the difference between a review video versus an instructional video. But thanks for you taking the time to comment on my video.
