Thanks for bein cool. I’m gonna upload the next video after i post this one just cos it’s done and i wanna get it out haha. Don't worry i'm not stopping making japan or lifestyle videos or anything, just don't want to focus my whole everything on what i think people will like. I’m feeling a lot better now and it’s great having some space for my brain while on holidays. Hope you’re all well!

I had no idea how stressed these videos made you feel. I generally liked the chilled and relaxed vibe. I could watch a video before work and I would feel a crazy amount of stress be released. Or I would watch before bed and feel relaxed enough to actually fall asleep. But I understand the stress to create something good. I'm a designer and I haven't done anything new for about a year. It's ok, I enjoy making my videos as relaxing and easy going as possible but it all becomes too much when I put pressure on myself to reach a certain standard. Also with everything else going on in life I felt I was falling behind in youtube which made it all worse haha. and it's ok to not do something new for a long time if you have other things happening in life, if you want ot get back into it and are having issues with that then maybe you could? i dunno i think i'm not good for advice but I hope you can enjoy designing again! also sigur ros were amaaaaaazing

I can relate to how you feel about KZbin and keeping everyone happy, but I don't think it matters so much how people found your channel. I found you when your tiny apartment tour blew up and then went back and watched ALL of your videos. I couldn't really care less about Japan honestly, I follow and watch every single one of your videos because I like you and your style of videos. Not just your editing, but even how you talk to the camera and just seem so natural, I leave your videos feeling like I've had a chat with a friend and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Hey, just in case that during the winter even in your new place you find yourself lacking sunlight, because that's how winters get sometimes... consider getting a daylight lamp. I got one last winter after having gone thorugh a really rough patch and it made all the difference. On greyish days I have it on during breakfast time and sometimes throughout half my work day. It's not as pretty as real sunlight but it sends the right signals to your body for energy and a good mood. Cheers!

Going through graduate school did the same thing to me. I had to spend time finding myself during and after that experience since it was soul-rending in many ways. For my girlfriend and I, it has taken us years to heal in some ways and that's okay (we met in grad school; being with someone who can understand your struggles helps heaps). While you're in your studies, be sure to take a little time for yourself here and there when you can--it helps you get through the tougher days and weeks. The reason I (and presume your audience) watch you is seeing how someone interacts and intersects with a culture that you didn't grow up in. I've never been able to travel much so to be able to watch your videos has been a bit vicarious and fun. Do what you have to do for you. Whatever comes from that whether it is involving video content or not is what is important. I hope you have/had fun at Sigur Ros. Good luck.

I think this is the case for many others but there's no particular theme I prefer in regards to your videos. I just enjoy sitting down and seeing how you are going. You can legit be doing anything! Going to an event, staying at home, it could even be just videos of Moss, quite simply anything really and they are honestly all great videos, no matter what theme they are. I came from one of your apartment videos but subbed anyway because I like watching your life in another country and your personality, that's all you need to do to keep subs btw :). Just wanted to let you know that I'm going through the same thing you are; I'm 8 months in after moving to a new city to do a PhD in organic chemistry research, I had so many things I wanted to do around the city and places I wanted to see and friends to make - yet the sheer volume of work and all of the fluff around it adds a level of dullness/tiredness to it all. You long for a week off, to get back to your roots and begin enjoying your life again. What helped me a lot was that I remembered that it's not about the end-game/goals, it's all about the journey. If you're not enjoying the journey try to change things so that you are. Maybe those things are beyond your control? But usually that just means that it's something you shouldn't be fretting about in the first place ;)

Just be yourself thats why I came to this channel and stayed theres a lot of channels for Japan things a lot, but what makes this one different its how you make them different, relaxing, like you're talking with a friend and not for money or to fill a quota!
