Couldn't agree more! The first time I visited Fushimi Inari back in 2018, there was a huge crowd of tourists and it was difficult to take photos or even walk under the torii gates without bumping against another tourist. The more I watched your videos the more I'm getting addicted to you in a way I'm kinda jealous or envy your personality, your family background and how they raised you as a child. I always wanted to become a better version of myself where just like you are able to take good care of yourself, very independent, lots of talent and so many more (has a decent job) which is I think I'm the opposite of you. Upon watching your videos even though I'm a little jealous you also inspires me to find inner happiness, purpose and to think how will I be able to become the person I always wanted. Wow. Thank for sharing. To be honest, I wasn't always like this. In the past, I was full of insecurities, doubts, and I didn't appreciate life. I always wanted to live someone else's life. I used to think that I have to look like someone else, do the things other people do, and own the things they have to be happy. But, when I moved to Japan, I realized that happiness can be found in the simplest of things. I started to appreciate random things like seeing a sink clean and without dirty dishes, shiny floors, learning new recipes (even if it doesn't taste amazing on my first try). We really have to train our eyes to find things to be grateful for. I am sure you can do it. A good exercise that helped me a lot is keeping a journal and writing things I am grateful for before I go to bed or right after waking up. Maybe you can also try that.
