Hey Daria, for your safety when peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables, please use a smaller knife lest you injure yourself, like when you peeled these stalks of rhubarb, a smaller sharp knife would have been much safer! ...Last summer I made elderflower fritters using a light tempura batter, finalized by dredging in light caster sugar. So delicious, as is elderflower cordial (the homemade of course). A very charming video, gentle on the spirit. Bless you sweet Daria, Wendi 🌻

Does elderflower grow where you live? It's so abundant here in England, usually the best one grows right by the main roads though! :) I know it does appear in some other countries, so if you find one - do let me know!

Elder is very common in Germany, too. I have watched several videos about how to make flower syrup, but I never knew, what to do with all the syrup. Thank you so much for the tip to use it in a drink! (this never crossed my mind before...)

@@beatriceintuitivelife elderflower drink is very popular in the UK, you just mix a bit with sparkling water or tonic. People also add it to sparkling wine or to gin here. ☺️ I’ve even seen the syrup being added to cheesecakes as a flavouring and poured over pancakes!
