I personally love just walking barefoot next to the creek.. listening to the birds and other creatures...big or small.. just watching the clouds float by.. Nature's elegance brings me the most peace❤

Spending a day alone in a wildlife refuge or state/national park identifying birds butterflies, other insects, animals and plants with keyed nature identification books. I have done this monthly with a amateur naturalist group and loved the interaction, challenge and friendship while trying to identify a much as we could depending on our interests, ending up with group dining at a local eatery. Lots of fun and camaraderie. Thanks for your beautiful and thoughtful videos.💚😊 Love your kitty, similar in color and habits of ours who is also fixated on what goes on outside

I wish there was a forest like that where I am living. I had tears when I saw those big trees, yearning for something I don't remember anymore. Like a mother's hug, unconditional and full of love. ❤I wish I could live in a place like that forever. Those trees make me feel more at home than the place I call home now.

Beautiful and relaxing. Thank you. I always try to do everything I can the simple and traditional way, e.g., I use a manual coffee grinder as well; as well as hand tools (not power tools); foraging, gardening, and cooking with organic whole foods; and reading real books and not just reading from screens. It makes all the difference. One of my favorite ways to relax is watching your beautiful videos. 💖🥀🌻🌳🌲 Peace be with you friend. 🕊

Aah it does make the difference, doesn’t it! 😌 Conveniences are good, whenever you need to do something fast, but there is something so lovely and mindful in doing certain things by hand. Makes you appreciate what goes into the process much more! ☺️

Another wonderful relaxing vlog - your vlog is the cherry on the cake at the beginning of the weekend. I find doing crafts relaxing - e.g. diamond painting, crochet, 3D and 2D jigsaw puzzles - usually, I get them seasonally-themed-some I use as decor at the end and take pride in what I did. Bird watching, nature, seaside, and countryside walks are also relaxing, I find I feel alive amongst nature. I'm so glad you do these vlogs. Thank you.

What a wonderful cosy video! 🌟 My favourite is a coffee and creating in my junk journal. Recently I've also spent much time sorting through LOADS of old digital photos (like when we were in beautiful Riga!), therapeutic. I read The secret story half a year ago, and I must admit it was the most depressing book I've ever read...! 😆 Have a lovely weekend! /Ditte 🤓 🇸🇪

Oh I’d love to know more about your junk journal! How do you use it? 😊 I do agree about The Secret History! I liked the book but also found it unbearable in places! 😅 I think it’s supposed to feel that way by author’s idea, but yes it gets very depressing!
@gurkmeja20216 ай бұрын
@@IamDaria (Very late answer, due to frequent migraine attackas lately) Hello Daria! I use my junk journal for different things like: what books I've read (22 books so far in 2024), sometimes affirmations using stickers & other paper embellishments, gluing in old photos from when I was abroad for 5 yrs in the 80's, if I've done a stationary haul, etc. Anything at all I'd like to document.Some of the journals I've made myself from scratch, one was gifted and I bought one. I use a lot of torn out old papers pages to decorate, and sometimes stamps. It's a lot of fun and very therapeutic! I've always liked to write. Hope you're doing well! Kind regards from Ditte in the south of Sweden

First, I'll answer your question and then I'll ask you mine. I usually do diary writing online or in hard form when I feel too occupied by my thoughts and it really helps, it's therapeutic! Daria, what would you suggest to a person who struggles with intrusive thoughts, fear of running out of time & lagging behind, doesn't even go out because of social anxiety? Because sometimes mental fatigue is worse than physical exhaustion

🌲🌳😃👍Please, do make a forest bathing video, Daria! 😊 Ah, the tea & coffee rituals! 🍵 ☕👌😌 And the books!! 😍 📚 You mentioned some very interesting titles! 😅 And also brought me memories of falling into a stinging nettle bush as a little child!! (But I don't hold it against this very marvellous plant 😉) I agree with all the wonderful advices, and have enjoyed this beautiful and relaxing, calming video immensely! 🙏 Thank you!! 🤗👏👏👏🥰😘

Ooh what! That must’ve hurt so much! 😱😱😱 Nettle is just everywhere and I sting myself almost daily 😅 I think the more you encounter it, the more of a kind of “immunity” you build perhaps… I was stung by it many times as a child, but then moved to London where it is almost non existent, and the first time I stung myself after many years was soooo painful! But then I got used to it again I guess 😆
@Escudera_de_Roble6 ай бұрын
@@IamDaria 😂 Indeed! I was smaller than the nettle bush itself, and was wearing summer clothes, so it was quite an episode! 😅 I became more cautious ever since, and very rarely get stung. 🤭 But I'd like to develop an immunity myself!! ☺️ Thank you, Daria, and have a lovely weekend! 🥰😘

You're reading Circe! How do you like it? The class read it together when I was younger. A different genre, but another book if you haven't read it, The Moon Spinners - Mary Stewart, is set in Greece, and her descriptions of scenery are lovely. Plants and practical use make chemistry and biology far more interesting...the herbology aesthetic shall get me through exams, perhaps!

Oh wow, interesting. And here I am thinking I had a good eye. Some clips just seemed to be filmed at higher frame rates, e.g., when you grind the coffee or when you turn on the lamp by your couch. Perhaps it’s the shutter speed you’re using? Either way, this is feedback on a small technical aspect. Your storytelling and framing is really good, regardless! 👏🏼
