Poetry Of Slow Life

It's already May and I can't believe how fast this year is going by!
I've been going out for long sunrise walks, taking photos and making videos nearly every day now, but I'm also experiencing a lot of self-doubt whenever I do it. I'm learning new habits and ways of thinking which help me deal with this issue. And living in nature really helps.

Please don't doubt yourself or stop making these videos. This channel is genuinely my favourite on the whole of KZbin. Your videos are so beautiful and wholesome and calming and refreshing. I like to think you make them because you enjoy the creativity - and that shows. Don't worry about how many people watch them. The joy they give to those of us who do regularly watch them is worth more than thousands of half-interested viewers.

You are not alone, for there are many of us similarly solitary, but joyful of every single day we are given by our Heavenly Father, to cherish and ~ share with those we love. Daria, please continue making these videos because each one is special in its own right, and though you may feel you are stuck in your ways, you have that ability to move on and find new things when they present themselves. Your videos are highly individualistic; thoughtful, sensitive, even. And each are most cherished by us. Thank you, and so much! ~Wendi 🌻

Gracias💓

Your videos are some of the most beautiful out there, and it's really a shame that more people don't get to experience the joy you transmit through them. I completely understand the feeling of working hard trying to create something nice for people to see and getting disappointed. My husband always reminds me of the immense joy of the process rather than the outcome and that really keeps me going. As you said, many times the process helps me mentally because I love having a way of expressing my creativity. Sending you all the best and I can't wait to see the beautiful things you will share with us in the future!

Thank you so much! Aah and it’s good to know you’re not alone, though I don’t wish for anyone to experience this in their life. It can be quite damaging if you let it get to you. But that’s a wonderful way to deal with it - focus on the journey and the process. If you’re in love with what you do, if it makes you feel good, no matter how difficult it is you’ll find a way to keep going! ☺️

Oh Daria, this was pure magic! And your words, I can't remember the last time the thoughts of someone else resonated so much with my own. Especially the part where you talk about your brain always finding a reason to talk you out of things you want to do and know you should do. I have this too with every new creative project I'd like to start, a new hobby I'd like to try, or just waking up early. It's a constant battle against my own head and it can be so exhausting at times. Not to mention the self-doubt connected to anything creative. I love discovering a new and endless part of my mind and imagination, yet there's so much fear involved for some reason. For every new thing I begin my head asks me why I should try in the first place, knowing it won't turn out the way I picture it in my head. At the same time I know all of this (mostly) isn't true and that my focus should be on enjoying the process and watching myself grow and learn... Sorry this was a rant. You have a new friend and admirer here, I can promise you you're not alone with these thoughts and emotions! And your filming and editing skills are breathtaking and out of this world!

Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your experience! It’s so good to know you’re not alone in this. 😌 These thoughts can be really damaging, right? It’s important to focus on the good things which can come out of it, and remind yourself of the good feelings you’ve experienced before. At least that’s what helps me. Whenever I’m doubting whether I should do something or afraid that it might fail, I remind myself of all the lovely people I encountered on the way, or beautiful views I saw, or calm and peace I felt on that morning walk, which then impacted my day for the better. ☺️ Thank you again on joining me on this journey! 💕

Dear Daria, thank you very much for this open and honest video! 🤗❤️ Please don't let the fact that your videos are not yet clicked as much stop you. They are so delicate, aesthetic and emotional that I'm sure your channel will go through the roof soon 👍🏼☺️ I can understand how you feel though. I'm very perfectionistic and often feel like I can only do things if I'm also good at them and get great results, otherwise it's a waste of time. With that, of course, comes self-doubt, just as you describe. Am i good enough? Are my creations beautiful and interesting enough for someone to find joy in them? I think it's very impressive of all of us who know these problems that we keep going anyway 💪🏼 I'm very glad that I found your channel and look forward every time to a new video from you! 🥰

Thank you so much for these kind words! 💕 And for sharing your experience too. It’s so easy to doubt yourself, perhaps especially because we’re constantly looking at others and the world is like an open window with social media. It’s easy to compare. But everyone has their own path and it’s important to keep going! ☺️ Thank you for being here 🙏🏻

So enjoyed this❤. You have a way of putting into words how I and so many feel. I think fear of the unknown keeps us from trying new things or changing our habits but we may be missing out on so much if we let our brains talk us out of it. You are so inspiring and love your videos❤

Yeah, self doubt and overthinking is definitely a struggle every now and then. Sometimes you're feeling great and fine but other times you feel like quitting everything because you just can't seem to even remember why you started doing something. Still trying to figure out how to not have those kinds of thoughts but as you said yourself, early morning works can do so much [good] to mental health and physical wellbeing. It's important to remember and do the things that make you happy and relaxed. :)

So sorry to hear about your struggles with self-doubt Daria. Though it’s not uncommon, overcoming it isn’t easy. Much of it has to do with our own mindset. I won’t claim to have all the answers, but I made a video some time ago that talks about our thoughts and how they affect us. If you go to my channel you’ll find the thumbnail that says, Here’s the Secret. I’d link it here, but don’t want to hijack your comments box. What I will say is, your videos are beautiful and artistic. They bring joy to many. And if you find joy in creating them then why not keep doing it. Making videos takes considerable time, but if you can, I’d keep going. I guess it all depends on what your goal is. If it is to enjoy creativity and bring joy then you’ve already accomplished it. I get a lot less views than you, though I really enjoy the process and spreading joy, thus it works for me. Wishing you peace and joy. Thank you for sharing this lovely video with your heartfelt words. Have a beautiful day! 🌸
