A rainy scene in Procreate (City in Paint 02)

I'm painting a made-up city scene trying to get this unique rainy day atmosphere down.

- Procreate, iPad Pro
- Artstudio Pro and PS for editing and effects
- Apple Motion for the rain animation

Oh, you even animated it, it's fantastic! And it's really interesting to go frame by frame to really see the changes you painted to achieve the wet feel. All those reflections in the wet asphalt. It's really educational, especially for someone like me who always admired this kind of awesome environments, but was afraid of the commitment to try and make similar himself. Thank you for sharing.

Wow, this is probably one of my very favorites of yours. I know I said before I love the rain, but it really has a special effect on me. Maybe it's because I was born during a stormy night in front of a fireplace at home. I don't know, but it give me the utmost happiness. I love the rainy animation that you added to it! You could definitely make one of those "8 hour Relaxing Loop" videos and I would watch it all day. 😂 Another question, how did you do that work time bar on the screen? Does Procreate have something that keeps track? Because I'd love to use it as a reference for my own work! 🥰

Hey Mat, I'm doing my first ever drawing of a city (Seattle Public Market to be precise), and I'm still in the outline phase after almost 28 hours. Haven't made it to the colors yet. I know you're a professional at this, so I don't expect to do it in 14 hours like you did, but is it too slow of me to be still in the outline phase after that much time, or is it fairly acceptable at this level?
