This fan rewrite of Re:Zero Season 1 is very interesting, I especially loved the inclusion of this original character called Rem, I don't remember there being a Rem in the original story but she could be a very interesting character! I really hope people don't forget about her anytime soon though.

Every time rewatch re zero, I always wish there was a version of it that was just the timeline everyone else sees, it would be so weird but fun to watch. The way Subaru must look to everyone else must be insane.

Honestly 2016 was one of the worst years of my life this anime came out and I loved it, I related to Subaru so much at the point I cried hard when with the infamous I love Emilia episode. Not for rem heartbreak but Subarus breakdown of himself and I saw so much of myself in him. Watching him grow after the 3rd arc and banding everyone together to fight the white whale. As I grew older I related to Subaru more but in a positive way of identifying my faults and working towards working on it. Season 2 dealing with his family issues felt very real. Subaru honestly is one of my favorite Main characters and re:zero is my favorite anime ever along with steins gate season 1

People who watched the frist episode are already complaining that they have no idea what is going on. You need to watch Season 1, OVA 1, OVA2, Season 2 and after that you can watch Season 3. It is very mystery heavy, character and dialogue driven show and a lot of complexity in it. Some recap. video isn´t going to help you understand the show or characters.

People for example watched Demon Slayer Mugen Train before they watched DS S1. But this is not something you can do with show like Re:Zero.

Arcs 1-3 were my favorite. Arc 4 was a bit bloated and had too many moving parts, but in the end was so well adapted in the anime that I have an overall positive opinion of it. Arcs 5 & 6 are my second favorite. Arcs 7-8 I could take them or leave them. Arc 9 is looking to be really good again so far.

the thing is the only one that got a backstory up this point is Crusch. Felt got part of hers with more coming this season, Priscilla starts to get hers this season, while Anastasia got some of hers during season 1 with more coming afterwards - and all three of them still have stuff to cover as of volume 24 (especially Priscilla) imo. Seasons 1 and 2 adapted volumes 1-15. So... I also bet there's more to Crusch than what we've learned so far because that's just how this story works.
