I think I would rock this, and there are so many ways to style these as well. She would look so elegant with a flowy purple silk tunic or caftan, and simple gold jewelry, and a diadem and some small hoops.

Absolutely gorgeous. If my arms didn't hurt so much doing my own hair or I could afford to find someone to do it, I would lol. Plus, one of the reasons I love threading is exactly what you mentioned - structure. The creativity with form and playing with curves is exactly what I love to see in most hair.

I have a book about traditional African hairstyles that I bought years ago and can't find it for the life of me. This style is so dope! I'm very tinder-headed and that looks extremely tight!. A stylist from NY named Agnes did this style on a model on Instagram where it was cornrowed in the front and loops in the back. I lost my mind! It was definitely not sleep 😴 friendly but it was so beautiful! I would love to get that particular style in a wig so I could sleep 😴 💤 😌 😩 at night! Lol Absolutely stunning!

Latisha Kennedy usually you pull on the end of the thread semi violently and the thread starts unraveling bit by bit but that’s after using a blade to carefully cut the part that joins all the single threaded hair.

I would wear this but I would make sure my roots were not pulled tightly since I have had weaves to tightly installed and broke my hair from the root, which fortunately grew back

When I was a little girl we had a friend from, Nigeria that would do this to my hair. Now I rock the locs. I do however wish I could do this for my new growth that just won't stay twisted without gels.
