You are a nice person. We need people like you in Argentina. Buenos Aires has a crazy rhythm and sometimes you will feel overwhelmed, sad, super happy, melancholy... all in 5 minutes, that's Argentina, very intense. I hope you can be happy here!!! 🥰

Dear Jade, thank you so much for showing the good and the bad. It helps a lot to know that others struggle with the same things. I just started university and you're very much an inspiration for me. I am sending you best wishes from Germany.

Oh, I feel you! I always crave nature sooo much. For the past few years, I've been wanting to go deep in the mountains, where there is no internet connection and just to stay there for a few weeks, and just breathe, you know))

I'm impressed with how you organized the meetup! With this many people it would be very hard for you to spend time with every single person, even though everyone is there because they want to meet you specifically. I think with the way you structured it to not be fully focused on you, but on the people there meeting eachother, everyone went away with much more than just a selfie. It looked like a great event!

Having gone through undergrad and two grad programs with countless papers written, I have really mixed feelings about grammerly basically rewriting your papers for you, a skill that ideally one picks up along the regular learning process with grammar classes, style manual and thesaurus.

Jade, you are such an inspiration to me. Your ability to take on so much work and being able to complete it and create it while also enjoying the little and big moments in life is incredible. I get so inspired by you, I am completing my second bachelors bc I love school and felt unaccomplished in my last program lol, I only go to work 2 and a half days a week and feel so stressed, overwhelmed, and anxious. I cannot believe how much you accomplish on top of enjoying life, it’s truly inspiring. I’m striving to make time for life things and relaxation but it’s been a difficult journey, so much in life gets me down, you inspire me to do more and enjoy life.

I just came around to watch this video, but it really made me tear up. I’m also in final year of Uni and deal8ng with lectures + assignments + dissertation; plus this is my 2nd year living abroad. I can’t help to have my moments of “I really don’t know what I’m doing, I feel like I can’t do anything. I don’t know anything”. This second time has hit me a lot harder than the first one, and I’m still trying to figure out why, but I think it’s because I know that this is my life now. Being away from my family. I don’t know what it’ll be like tomorrow, but I genuinely feel grateful for this video and that last message, it feels good to be reminded we’re not alone

16:14 Jade that colour looks so good on you. also i relate so much to the needing nature and wanting to move to a cabin in the middle of nowhere. It's kind of sad that cities exist, like i can't move in with my boyfriend because he lives downtown in a more unsafe neighbourhood and i know i wouldnt feel safe leaving the condo alone if i lived with him. Even if i could, there are no empty natural spaces

Jade, it’s insane how what you said about realizing you’re truly a nature person reflect my exact thoughts at the moment. You might knew about it already, but I didn’t. I live in Paris right now and I went on holidays in NYC two months ago, thinking I was going to move there in two or three years. I was so sure I was gonna love it, and even though the trip was great, I felt very unsafe, stressed and overwhelmed by the city. I went back to Paris and started to feel the same way here. I can’t move away right now as I have a job, flat and wonderful bf. But I don’t know how to cope with my stress and have been kind of depressed for a month now, because I’m so unsure of where I want to live. And I always thought I knew what I wanted from life. Controlling our thoughts and stress is so hard… Sending love to anyone who might be in a similar situation

I'm pretty sure you already know about her, but I love how you and Hitomi are both really rooted in nature, just journalling, doing yoga, having informal music making sessions with friends, and just really living life mindfully! I would really love to do that too, and I notice that when I get stressed/overwhelmed, I really have this urge to just go sit in a park for a while!! It would be great if you two could do a video together one day as I feel you two would become great friends!!

I spent 2 weeks on an extremely difficult assignment, the final week I only did that assignment. I didn’t go out, I didn’t relax, only sat and did that. Upon submitting it just half an hour before the deadline, I didn’t feel accomplished because i still wasn’t happy with it. The next week, I spent Mon-Thurs doing the same with 2 assignments due a day apart which I hadn’t even started before Monday. The stress has been immense, so many tears and breakdowns, along with getting a bad mark at the start of this week that just made me feel hopeless. My mood has plummeted, my skin is awful from the stress (and stress picking) and I feel disgusting and have no energy. Hoping for some balance now, but I’m just done.
@nuuranal89892 жыл бұрын
Your stress is tied to doing assignments so close to the deadline dates. I highly recommend starting the note taking for your assignments 2 weeks before deadline. Make little notes everyday that will help you closer to the deadline. and ORGANISE! Get a journal or notebook or use online calendars to map how you want to use everyday and what you want to achieve so nearer deadlines, you are, again, more confident and prepared. It relives the stress so much more. So two advice in summary: plan plan plan and organise! Don’t leave it to the last week or few days before. You burden yourself too much. Space things out!

Wait until you hear about the nigth of the museums ;) there is one day (all day and really late at nigth) that all museums open , most of them for free or really cheap, and there are parties and shows all around, you have special buses or bus pass to take to move around and go to as many as you want Also if you are craving for nature, take advantage of the weekend or when you have more time and move a little far away like Tigre for example, you can just take the train from Retiro and is direct from that.

I had 3 big tests this week, and I got 2 out of 3 completed. The first one went well but I made small math mistakes which annoys me, and the second one was fine but I had marching band the day before. I felt really horrible because I was super prepared for my debate in debate class but spoke too fast and didn't make it to 4 minutes (I was a minute short). It is now Thursday and I am trying to push through the week. I knew this week would be difficult which is why I am continuing to push. Next week I am definitely going to take a bunch of time for myself and just recalibrate. My last marching band competition is Saturday and then I will have more free time for my studies!! I can't wait to get more sleep. I am surprised I was able to keep up my grades during the marching band season though. School is definitely better for me Junior year than Sophomore year, which is good. Your videos make me smile :)) Whenever I see you posted I get happy.
