Tristan No, they weren't the same. Dont like being rude but frankly there's quite a bit of illiteracy around this and it does mainly stem from half baked understanding of communist rhetoric. The Bourgoisie were not the Aristocracy or the Clergy. Interestingly on the other hand there are massive conflations of the Proletariat with the Peasantry. These confusions and conflations were politcally expedient for certain ideologies trying to manufacture a popular mandate, and since then have been maintained mainly through people being raised in more liberal democratic social orders and so projecting their impression of the stratification/class relations hereunder onto the older epochs. There was probably as much if not more anti-bourgois sentiment among the Aristocracy and upper echelons of the Martial spheres as there was with the proletarians. The bourgois were still Commoners. France and Britain, especially in te long nineteenth century, had more interplay and crossover between te bourgois and aristocratic classes, but this still doesn't make them the same.

I feel like you guys just haven't looked at enough material. Socialites got into catty, bitchy fights all the time _and_ had a bunch of it documented. Take a look at Lord Byron's social circle long enough and I'm sure you'll find at least 6 or 7 that he started between different women that he had affairs with.

How they all end up: Miss Croydon: Ends up going from enemies to lovers with Lord Bradbury and becomes Lady Bradbury. Visits Miss Wilde on her deathbed and rips off her wig one last time. Lady Ashbourne: Marries a gossip columnist and writes a saucy exposé on Queen Victoria and Jon Brown’s secret boudoir sessions in Balmoral Miss Wilde: Gets engaged to the Prince but Miss Lindsey seduces him and they run off together. Dies a bitter lonely spinster, outcast from society. Dies of Spanish flu and gets eaten by her cats. Miss Lindsey: Marries the Prince and has a bunch of sassy, iconic kids. Makes barbecue sauce a national delicacy. Queen Victoria’s last words are to say she was her favourite daughter-in-law.

I mean you don't need to watch reality TV shows to know how bad and even toxic reality TV shows are. Just watch a a few second clip and you can tell how the entire genre is like. Over dramatic, oversimplified and emotionally manipulative with constant woosh woosh shoom shoom effects. It's like junk food. It's fun to watch for a while but about an hour, you'll be feeling like you have been poisoned.

Most certainly. Mother doesn't approve of such content, she argues that a brazen lady is a servant of the beast and thus I must not engage or even entertain the idea of partaking in such licentious acts. I hate to say it... But my mom totally made me clean my room as a kid before she had a cleaning company come clean our house back in the day. Because my slovenly ass embarrassed her. lol.
