The mission is clear, adults must now start using "recent" to mean 'cool', that way we can kill it off early. So, get out there, fellow old people, and start telling the youths how recent your latest cholesterol levels were, where the town's recentest afternoon buffet is, and why it's unrecent of them to not get off your lawn.
@robertbrinker17694 жыл бұрын
I listened to 4 episodes without realizing it because there is almost no intro and almost no outro and with autoplay on there is just a 2 or 3 second pause followed by a sudden topic change and I absolutely love that. I really love there not being anything I feel the need to skip through at the end of each episode.

I almost exclusively use the KZbin subscriptions feed. I never thought I could be a minority with this. How do you find the videos you want to watch if you don't use the subscriptions feed? Do you go through all the dozens of good KZbin channels daily to find out if the uploaded something or du you trust the algorithms and miss half of the episodes of KZbin series!? It makes no sense to me to not use the subscriptions feed at all!
@Pheatan6 жыл бұрын
Robin 'Astus' Albers i personally use the reccomended feed. Theres alot of channels i watch everyday that shows up there without needing to subscribe. For instance, im not subscribed to numberphile or bradys other channels, but because i watch alot of his videos and other people like veritassium and smarter everyday, this means i continue to get his videos reccomended.
@MathAndComputers6 жыл бұрын
I always first use the Subscriptions feed, and then, if I still feel like watching more KZbin after finishing those, I'll check the Home feed, but it's waaaay too overfitted to what I *just* watched, so I often look at it, scroll down for a bit, and just close it, 'cause it's so mediocre at predicting what I might want to watch next. Sometimes it comes up with something interesting, but often it's a solid meh. I often resort to just searching for stuff at that point.

Oh, right, and I check the Trending feed whenever I want to remind myself how catastrophically civilization is about to collapse... maybe once a day.

If you're willing to do your own recycling, you can get empty soda cans for free and melt them down. My roommate has done that. Pro tip: make sure that whatever you're putting them in to hold them while they melt has a higher melting point than your cans and your furnace's heat. My roommate did not do this her first time and ended up with melted cans inside of a melted kettle that turned to liquid when she tried to pick it up and so she accidentally doused the bottom of the furnace in molten metal. This is not an optimal strategy.

So it didn't matter if you where standing you still got off at the same time you would have anyway, and because I'm a relatively tall person I would just sit and check my emails or whatever for the 5 minutes or whatever it is before the first few sections before us left the plane.

So, the mistake in the description which makes the first Microscopic Nail and Gear url contain the "--Close" accidentally should be fixed. I clicked it, and I'm quite certain it was a malicious site. After like 3 redirects it leads to a page prompting for you to click something. If you know about web development, once you click something basically any restrictions put on the developer on what they can do to the user get thrown out the window. DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK. Hopefully Grey will fix it.

Grey, I got to this from my subscriptions feed this time, but quite often I get to it from the suggestions to the right of the last played video... but I'll only click on one of those if I know it is new (having seen it in subscriptions, most likely) PSA: Ambient Authority is the root of most computer security problems, and needs to be removed.
@Squbber6 жыл бұрын
The reason no one ever clicks on grey’s videos in their subscription feeds is because he never posts any videos. I’m subscribed to him but to find his videos in my feed would mean to go back months. I often re-watch grey’s videos so I usually go to his channel to find them. This skews the numbers. KZbinrs who post multiple times a week or even just a few times a month are likely to have more people using their subscription feed to navigate to videos.

The youths may claim that cool has moved on, but I highly doubt it. There are terms that come and go, and they temporarily replace cool for a little while, but when those fad-words have moved on, cool remains. Cool is the default. I think Vsauce did a video on it once.

Cabin baggage isn't much of a problem... What really annoys me is the checked baggage collection. Lets have everyone ignore signs and stand as close to the carousel as they can and block everyone else from getting to their bags - which just causes the carousel to back up (sometimes to the point of preventing more bags getting onto the belt) and slows the entire process down for everyone. CPG, you're lucky that you can get GE and precheck. Being Australian, they won't let me get either. :( (even though Australia lets Americans use our version of GE).

they're allowed to kick you off a flight for more or less any instruction you choose not to follow, -but-, they have to land to do so so they 100% will not kick you off the first time they notice you're not buckled so, I never buckle up, unless told to once (after takeoff), and then I will but not once has a flight attendant cared enough to ask me the first time/notice, so I flew with my mom for the first time in a decade the other month and she lost her mind at this practice, she acted like the fbi was gonna bust in and arrest her just for sitting next to me, but deffo it's just a sign ??? and the only people who enforce it are just doing it to be pricks, it's really only there for the infirm and if ur well enough to decide you don't want to buckle up and there's no consequences then it doesn't matter and nobody cares
@tabula_rosa6 жыл бұрын
also, board last and get off last. If you get into line you're gonna be standing vastly longer than if you stay seated till the line is gone. On both cases the line just gets you to a less comfortable state, so maximize the time ur sitting in a more comfortable state
