A reflection on restating, instant gratification & love of dogs!

The next time you want immediate results, whether it’s in a relationship, a project, with a family dynamic or anything else and it doesn’t work out the way you thought it would, ask yourself, “what was I expecting?”
You’ll find that there’s a little shift that you might need to make in your expectations, and in curbing your need for instant gratification.
There are definitely situations where, if you’ve tried to give it a chance and it’s not sitting right, or doing right by you, you can extend grace to yourself and say, “I can no longer do this or be in this relationship”.
Before then, some introspection on expectations in setting a new mindset in your approach, might be worth considering. At least for me!

I'm so glad we Kenyans are looking at animals as pets and showing them love they deserve, growing up dogs were more like guards but we are accepting them as pets and its soo fulfilling. I have cats but I love all fur babies.....please if u can adopt one or two and its give them a loving home and love them....

I love dogs but can't afford them 🤦 currently but i know the time will come. I have 3 cats coz i love them too 😊 generally i love pets

I was not an animal lover until , I got my kids.... Then we got 2 dogs.... Since I'm always scared to hold them... I used to pamper the smallest kidogo tu... He grew fond of me and welcome me whenever I got home from work. Then one day he died ..... I literally cried, I miss him up-to-date.... He was so loyal.... No matter how long I went, he could still remember me ..
