A couple things to note! Don't worry if you get a scary message when first launching the modpack saying some files didn't install. That happened to me, and the fix was to simply hit play/launch again and it downloaded everything properly. It will probably take a while for the first launch since you'll be downloading the files for the first time. I couldn't include the Physics Mod Pro Version in the modpack because it's a paid mod and that's obviously not allowed to be redistributed. Sorry about that! Honestly though, the pro version is more for experimental/fun features like the smoke/snow effects, so it's not a big deal. The modpack still has the Lite version which has things like ragdoll/block physics, which you'll notice way more in survival gameplay. Anyways, have fun everyone! :)

Ok, you actually made a modpack of my dreams. Couldn't find anything that'd better suit my needs. All the other modpacks I tried made Minecraft really overwhelming, but this one focuses on a general experience, polishing and adding many new things, while also being vanilla friendly and not overwhelming. i think i'll be using this modpack all the time when i'm playing with myself or my friends from now on, the combination of mods is amazing. it doesn't feel too non-vanilla yet it adds so much polish to the game. i want to enjoy the game for what it is at its core, and this allows me to do that while making everything about it 10x better. the fact that you also made detailed lists of every mod is going to make figuring out which mods add which features and managing them all SO much easier. if you can't tell already, i really appreciate your effort in this :)

I started to get teary eyed at how the music set in as I came across a new generated structure that only my imagination would have created at the age of 9 all those years ago.

It's been a while since I last play a chill session of survival minecraft, but I just spent 4~5 consecutives hours doing just this, with that modpack. Honestly the best Vanilla+ modpack out there. Other modpack either have too many mods and they feel over saturated, random mods thrown together with no thought behind them, they have very few mods and you don't feel the improvement over vanilla or they are made in forge and they lag like HELL. Great job there friend you successfully made art! No joke this has became my preferred way to play the game. The mods you choose feel like improvements over what we have in vanilla instead of adding new unnecessary thing, the shader you choose make the game look absolutely stunning and It runs surprisingly well. A sub and a download well earned!

Awesome thanks! And that's part of the Vanilla Refresh datapack. You can disable it by typing /function vanilla_refresh:_settings in chat (assuming cheats are enabled for the world) and then click Continue --> Entities and you can disable it. Hope that helps!

the vanilla tweaks resource pack is what causes the crosshair to disappear-- removing it worked for me

Yeah I can look into that, but I will say that I have set up a modded server with my friends using Apex Hosting and I put all of the mods in there, and it runs well. So if you want to use any of these mods they should work! Do make sure though that the server you're playing on allows mods though, as I know some mods are *techincally* useable on servers but it would get caught by an anti-cheat software or something.

I love the more cinematic feel of everything, which is what I was striving for. I've been planning on making a more cinematic minecraft series, and I might just use this for that. Also; your other videos regarding more general topics like having friends, sharing interests, etc. Please don't stop doing those. They may not have as many views as these, but trust me they do reach the people that need it. I can already see you're gaining traction in followers quite fast, and with how many people you'll be able to reach more, those videos will have even more impact than they do now. Ive played this game since my brother introduced it to me, i dont remember the version since i really didnt bothered about that back then but i think it was 1.5ish when i started. I hadnt really played it much since 1.9 came out. here and then a server with school mates, but never a new Singleplayer world because it wasnt "fun" enough. I started speedrunning the game last year but never really for the fun of the game but to just speedrun it. This modpack really gave me the spark back for this game... I entered a world and i just found myself looking through the world just seeing how amazing it looks, going through new structures and caves (to be fair the caves were introduced in vanilla and i just never played a world with the new world gen)... Most notable for me: I stopped using so much sprint because... i dont know it somehow just made it less enjoyable. Thank you for putting this together... much enjoyed!
