quick corrections with cerbon's better beacons: the beacon base material is what increases the level of the effect granted by the beacon, and the item you put in to activate the beacon is what determines the range of the effect

@@Calvodecria559 The supplementaries team recently (just under a month ago) released their own port of farmer's delight for fabric, called farmer's delight refabricated :) They added the ability to flip the burger by right clicking! They're focusing on parity with the original mod unlike the other port, so fabric based farmers delight addons don't work unless theyve specifically added a compatibility layer for it, but forge based addons will have a much easier time making fabric ports as the mods are no longer wildly different to code for.

Some mods that i really recommend for an even better vanilla plus experience. the first mod is quark, it adds some very cool additions for every single elements of the game, the mod adds more building/decorations blocks, new redstone blocks, some tweaks, world generations improvements, more mobs, inventory manegements tweaks and etc. For understand every feature of quark i recommend use the official site of the mod developers. The second mod i recommend is spelunkery, he is a very cool cave expansion mod, add new ores, new mining progression system and world generation improvements. And last mod that i suggest is the immersive weathering, it adds very interesting new mechanics to the natural system of the world and some tweaks.

All 3 of those mods are fantastic. And I have been craving a reason to include the last one in a modpack. Spelunkery is one I totally forgot about and would have considered if it popped into my head when making the list. Immersive weathering felt super nice, but I don’t think it fits super well with the base game. Likewise with quark. Both of those though are friggin amazing, and there is absolutely a place for them; just maybe not in this list specifically. Immersive weathering has my heart

@@layncemc I think quark's standout quality is the fact every feature in it can be disabled from the in-game config menu, so while I definitely do agree there's a lot of features I consider a little too much for vanilla, you can super easily disable them and make it into a much smaller mod!

Thanks Laynce, this was beautiful! Although, I gotta say there is a Tinker's Construct Fabric port called Hephaestus (if I spelled it right) if you miss tool mods on Fabric (There is also Forgero, but I've never got to make it work with some performance mods). Tool Trims is a must for vanilla "toolage", although the GUI is a bit scuffed atm, I absolutely cannot play anymore without trimming my trusty companions.

I saw the 3D soul lantern during the stone chest. Amendments is a nice mod to have as well, adds more decor and polish to the game, similar to Supplementaries

One thing I love about Supplementaries is the fact that it has so many compatibility features. I don't think I've ever had a situation where I felt like there ahould be compatibility where there wasn't. Side thing too, if you want more variants of Supplementaries blocks there's a mod they put that stuff in called Supplementaries Squared.

As an alternative to HT TreeChop, you can try the *Physical Falling Trees* data pack, which's similar to Dynamic Trees but more vanilla-style and sorta explains the pre-generated Fallen Trees you find in the world. With the data pack, mining the bottom Log causes the whole Tree above to fall on its heaviest side _but_ doesn't mine the blocks, so they'd still need to be mined individually afterwards. Being squished by a falling Tree also damages an entity, so players (or exploding Creepers) can weaponize Trees with this.

The lantern is from a mod made by the developers of Supplementaries called Amendments! I talked about this in my “old features” video if you’re interested! Inventorio is the mod that adds the extra off hand slots :)

I love that mod! I think detailed furniture takes away from some of the creativity you get having to work around lack of blocks. So if I had remembered it, I still probably wouldn’t have included it, but in a setting besides vanilla plus, it would be absolutely perfect

Well different mods are available for different versions. The best versions for modpacks in my opinion are 1.8, 1.12.2, 1.16.5, 1.18.2, and 1.20.1. Both forge and fabric have great mods that are exclusive to their version, and some that are available for both. It’ll be trial and error looking for stuff!
