@@flanplan5903 sawyer's voice actor in the english version doesn't go with the character at all he's a 10 year old kid not a teenager when the person doesn't know how to voice his character he is fired and replaced by a voice actor to better match the characters.

XY/XYZ was SUCH a good series, because they fleshed out their side characters with specific personalities and quirks. Tierno had his dancing, Shauna was... well, also a performer, but had a nice tomboy personality to conflict with Serena's general princessy nature (dunno if I'm explaining that properly... I might edit that in a couple of days), and Trevor was a bookworm, but could also dish out some pain, like Clemont. And Sawyer was probably one of the best Rival figures Ash has ever had; really makes it seem like Mango and M2K mixed with the general teacher-student trope that many shows work with at one point or another. And that's not even touching the side story with Alain and that other girl with her Chespin

I totally agree! Every xy character or rival were so memorable and had something different to offer. Even if not all of them got the best development, they still were fairly likable. Sawyer is def my fav xy character because of his optimism, his dorkiness and how he admires ash I miss xy, such a good season
