Pretty gemstones with the crumpled foil technique! I love how the cured UV resin can bake in the oven with polymer clay!

I overbought resin and now I'm anxious to use it up before it expires. This couldn't be a more perfect project and what amazing results. So well explained and demonstrated, too! Thank you! I'm so glad I found and subscribed to your channel, Laura!

Oh Sandra!! Thank you, lady!! I have sooooo many more planned videos coming!! And thank you for your comment!! They really help me to know how I am doing on these crazy videos! It is SOOOOO helping me!! Plus, it helps with me preparing for more videos!!! I am not sure if you have ever seen my work, but I run the gambit. And, I am giving you a heads up here...to check out the one I will be posting on Monday!! It will be important for everyone and myself moving forward. Finally, a complete tutorial for making and setting a faux gemstone for jewelry! I've been looking forever for a lesson on how to replace a couple of tiny rubies that I lost in my ring.I know I should get the real thing, but I'd like a chance to try it. Thank you teaching .e how to make them. I will have to match in color. Is there a different color when created then from their cured color? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity!💙🩷💚👍🙂

Do all polymer clays need baking? Or can we skip that step?😮

Came across your video. I subscribed. I love this idea. Is it ok to bake any UV resin, glue, and clay in a small oven?

Oh, Linda!! Thank you soooooo much!! I am thrilled you enjoyed the video, and I hope you will take in the other videos I do as well...As to your question, I would probably say yes and no. It depends on the element you are dealing with. I know that with UV resin, when it cures...it gets warm. So, to me that says it cures when heat is applied, so it should be okay. With clay, It depends upon what kind of clay you're using. Air dry would not need to be put in an oven. Others are generally bake types. Glue?....hmmmm...Yeah...I would say so. However, that being said, some glues may be affected by the heat when you cure your clay and they may not be as strong once your piece cools down. I am thinking about glues like E-6000. However, that being said, I have used liquid superglue almost exclusively and never had a problem. I do hope this helps...sending you my biggest hugs!! :)
