snsd was my first stan group back in 2009 when i started to know more bout kpop! i literally cried in the first minute cause it is literally a part of ME. i started to be more confident, more "light" bout myself, etc etc just because of this 8 girls. its so grateful to be able to see them together again! also, they look like 18 again like ?

I got into SNSD thanks to Tiffany. Thanks to her I worked through her discography backwards until I got to her SNSD era and I'm so glad they're back. This MV/song is so classic,. looking at the present, mature group while paying homage to their beginnings. I love it!

idk how many times I watched the MV already but until now I still get teary eyed. I've been a sone for 13 years and they've brought me so much joy during my teenage years. The thing I specially loved about that MV is how it shows them as they are and as they were at the same time. It´s SNSD in all their splendour banging on our memories, but it´s also Yoona shooting a movie, Taeyeon being a soloist, Hyo a DJ, Soohyun an actress (on some kind of musical stage) so on so on. They are who they are, doing their own thing but they are and they will always be SNSD, Forever 1. I bawled when I realized that about the MV 😭😭😭😭

I love how you smiled throughout the video. I did exactly that without realizing. I feel so nostalgic watching the MV and just so proud of them. Despite me not keeping up with them much for a while, the Sone in me rose up straight away after this comeback. I just miss them so much especially on variety shows for their personality. SNSD was the first group I ever stanned, and that was back in 2010. And when 4 members left SM, I didn't think we'd get another Group Comeback. So my mind was pretty much blown with this release. I will say that I'm OT9 at heart, so it's always bitter sweet to see the group without Jessica, especially when they sing about how they're together forever... But they look and sound great, Seohyun looks like 21 - not 31- and Sooyoung really stands out with that blonde hair. Tae is my bias too, but Sooyoung bias wrecked me 5 ways from Sunday. Anyway always cool to Hear from you and your OG perspective. :)

Man, I've been waiting for your reaction in particular since you were into them in their peak era (and we're around the same age). I was introduced to SNSD way back in '09 but lost touch around 2011. I got back into K-Pop with Dreamcatcher and I got caught up to everything SNSD afterwards. Sunny was my original Bias but after my revisit in 2018, Taeyeon stole my heart (but really, they're co-captains of my heart). God, when the Into the New World intro riff got turned into a motif for this song's bridge? I teared up. It was genius. The MV goes through each member's career trajectory during their hiatus and the white outfits represent Into the New World, their debut, which along with the piano riff for it in the bridge evokes that they're still the same SNSD after all these years. It's genius, really.

Been with them for 12 years now and practically grew up with them. Seeing them together again feels so nostalgic and I feel like a part of me that was missing suddenly came back. Oh and btw since you said that Run Devil Run was your fave era then you will like You Better Run and Villain on their new album. The girls said You Better Run was connected to RDR and it's basically the ending to that storyline. I first listened to SNSD when I was in 7th grade and I graduated in 2021. I started listening because my cousin had a Korean exchange student and she introduced us to a lot of the 2nd Gen groups like t-ara, SNSD, older BTS songs, 2ne1, and many many more. SNSD was the first group I loved and avidly followed and knowing they're still going strong now, warms my heart so much and I cried watching this MV. I felt like the 7th grade I was once, watching my first MV from SNSD.
