Going back to the Kepnes book, I am sure there is a book 5 coming. Fook knows what this book will bring, there has got to be an end somewhere at this stage. Joe is really losing his sparkle in particular in this book when he has his squeaky bum moment if you catch my drift when you get to the bit in the book x

I agree with your thoughts on the You series - but you put it a lot better than I could - I was much more hooked by books one and two and agree they were more connected, book three lost my interest a bit... haven't picked up four yet.

Agreed! Loved the first one, enjoyed the second one and I don't even think I finished the third one but couldn't say either way for sure 😂 but then the tv show also bored me a bit as well and I don't think I even finished the first series 🙈

I looked at book 6 and was very upset to see it's 993 pages without the glossary, and the prologue is 75 pages....I'm going to chip away all through November

I enjoyed the daughter of smoke and bone trilogy 😊 I admittedly went in with super high expectations because my best friend loved them, and while they weren't new favourites for me, they were still very enjoyable and worth the read 😊

So far I found that Slayers falls a little flat at times. Story wise it is interesting having being written by Amber Benson and Christopher Golden, two people who have strong ties with the series. There are some scenes that I feel are perfect, but as I haven’t listened to the whole thing yet, I can’t say how I feel about it as a whole. I can say though, as a Buffy fan, I am loving being back in the Buffyverse even if it isn’t Buffy at its best.
