Her harlequin album is INSANELY good… It compliments the character and movie so well and it’s still very gaga esc. Harley Quinn is VERY classic gaga coded when you really think about it. You just have to be willing to genuinely sit down and listen to it all the way through, while understanding that it’s meant to be a separate entity from her main work. I know jazz isn’t everyone’s favorite, but you’d be surprised how much you might enjoy some of the songs if you gave them more time/more of a listen.

i’m with you - i loved cheek to cheek when it came out, but i just couldn’t really get into harlequin as quickly as the other jazz standards she’s done - i’ll give it another chance though for sure!

@@josephjamesmusic_ I definitely chalked off a lot of her jazz music because I couldn’t get into on first listen, but I was glad I gave it more of a chance because my god, that woman is a JAZZ SINGERRR lol. Hope harlequin grows on you too!! And if you haven’t seen it already, you could react to her live performance of ‘happy mistake’ on Kimmel! The vocals are honestly insane.
