Hello Mary and thank you for yet another interesting book review. However, my heart skipped a beat when you mentioned Charleston! I just love the Nathaniel Russell House and the beautiful staircase. Oh, Mary. I found myself watching the clock this afternoon waiting for my 15 minutes of respite. Love your reviews. Love wandering with you during your outings. And I love Charleston! If you go there for a weekend, especially during warmer weather, I highly recommend the Cottages on Charleston Harbour. Morning tea on the screened veranda watching the ships go by is a wonderful way to start a special day!

Hi Mary. Nice video and lots of history you shared with your viewers/thanks so much and always interesting. I have been really sick and plus we lost our wonderful, sweet Persian boy, Oliver. He was 17 years old and we are heart broken. Trying to decorate but not feeling it this Christmas. You're not a Debbie Downer. I hope you feel better soon and I'm so sorry about the loss of you sweet Oliver. It took me a long time to get over the loss of my sweet Larry. I also remember thinking I could never have another pet because the loss was so painful. Fast forward 4 months later, and I was at the animal shelter looking for a cat that needed love.

ALL the time. The books inspire me to create little vignettes or entire rooms. I am often inspired by color, collections and accessories. These books also inspire me to stay tidy, otherwise I could very easily become a hoarder.

I think I've seen it for sale in the Nell Hill's store in Briarcliff. The number is given above under "more" in the details for Nell Hill's. Mary Carol sold the store a few years ago but they've kept goingthe spirit of it her design sense.

Loved the tour of Nathaniel Russell home and your narrative about the history of this home. Looking forward to the second part will we be touring the kitchen and slave quarters?I read about the restoration in 2018 and how the rats nests found between the drywall and original walls yielded many interesting remnants of days gone by.
