Thank you for posting this. This happened & it freaked me out. BUT because I,ve been trying different products I wasn't sure what exactly caused it. I wasn't sure if my scalp was simply having a nervous breakdown on it's own. The whole top of my head had a layer of thick dead skin that was stuck to my scalp & hair in addition to traditional dandruff. It felt like a scab, but the size of the scab like thing was the whole center of my head. TODAY I tried the serum again AFTER scraping off the scab like thing & washing it. My head felt like it caught on fire. I sat under a fan & prayed I was being sensitive. My scalp is now pink. (so irritated. As am I) Franticly I search for reviews & find you with all the validation a girl could (but didn't) want. Sigh. So... We'll see if the monster scab comes back. I almost want to cry. I think my scalp/me is sensitive to many products (oils). THIS is the 1st serum I've tried & I tried it BECAUSE several oils make my eyes tear &/or twitch & it took me FOREVER to figure out that my leaking eye & or twitch was the result of the oils! I was like ok, maybe my scalp will do better with this serum. eh boy. Oh & while my scalp seems to like the oils that my eyes don't, my hair ALSO doesn't like oils. This is so much fun. No. No it's not. But THANK YOU!!! I might be crazy, but I'm not making up the monster adhesive dandruff flake that left a raw pink tender scalp in it's wake.

I am so sorry this happened to you. If your scalp is still irritated you should consult a dermatologist or health professional that way you can get medication to help your scalp heal more quickly.

I had the same experience. I liked how it felt on my scalp but after it dries it definitely creates flakes.
