Have you considered harvesting rain water in a location near your kitchen garden? You can then run strips of irrigation tubes (with the holes) between your plants and water in two quick steps....turn the tap on for a period of time then off! You household waste water may also be useful

Jael, I always look forward to your videos. I also eat the carrot leaves. I slice them very thinly and add a bit in my stews. I also eat my 🥕 carrots without peeling them. I once read an article where a doctor was talking about the added minerals loaded on the skin of the carrots. Especially organic ones like yours. Keep the videos coming, I'm really inspired by them❤.

Discovered your channel when I thought I was crazy for embarking on a similar lifestyle. On the one cow I also wanted one but kept wondering why my cow was always at the fence peeping/mooing 😀at the neighbor's cows, its then I learnt animals get lonely and I had to get it a friend. Now have 2 mothers and their 3 babies but I plan to sell the babies and keep the mothers. Keep up Jael, you give me courage to continue on this new phase.

I feel you, even when we are so happy about our achievements, we do not stop to worry about our children. If possible, support Lexi to identify a few good friends, one or two will be fine enough. It will be good for her and you will be happier knowing she is balanced. I remember one time when we moved to a new place, my children asked me to help them find good friends especially because I was out of home most times ad they felt very lonely when they came home from school. I remember how heart broken this made me feel. Although it took time because I was very careful, I needed to know the parents to whose children I introduced them too, we eventually made great friends.

Jael another idea about green onions which can be beneficial. You can only use the leaves which you pick from sides not main middle leaves and if you want the main onion from the roots then you take a branching onion from the root from the cluster/bunch and leaving part of it Bunch to keep growing and yielding more green green onions. Just like sisal
