What a process. Wow. When I was a kid I used to eat raw sugar cane from the stalk that looked like celery. Was sweet but not sickly sweet. I remember the fields of sugar cane growing in Hawaii in the 1950s.

Burning the sugarcane leaves before harvesting is on of the biggest air pollution problems in south east asia.
@UnchartedPhenomenaX Жыл бұрын
Rather than burning it, there should be a way to separate it and then use it for something else, like feeding the animals etc. that's what people do here in Pakistan and India. It's not useless!
@shayson1357 Жыл бұрын
how does it pollute the air when it took that same carbon dioxide from the air a few months before, the total is still back to 0. I can understand if you mean this process releases all that carbon dioxide in a single day and discomforts people nearby.

Wow, this video is really informative and highlights the incredible scale of sugar production! However, I can’t help but wonder if the environmental impact of such massive sugarcane farming is being overlooked. With all that land used, what’s happening to the local ecosystems? It’s a double-edged sword, right?
