At the moment I am wearing the Glashütte Original SeaQ Panoramadate. Great watch. Rolex doesn't have any watches on this level. And by the way, wearing this watch in Rolex ADs I have been offered new Rolexes twice last year. With zero history with the ADs. Once they even went to the safe to show me some models they had.

Roy, I love the seaQ panoramadate but have never had the chance to try one on. I have 6.75” wrist and would love to see if I could pull it off. I am currently wearing a omega seamaster heritage 41mm, 48mm lug to lug. I would love some honest advice if you have the time…..Paul

@@pauldempsey469 It is a matter of taste, but I would say the SeaQ Panoramadate is to big for you. It is 43.2 mm, and quite thick at 15.65 mm. At least you need to try it on before buying. The ones without panoramadate would probably fit you alot better. All the best, Roy

I think that in the long run black dial is the safe bet. But it is easy to end up with just black or white dials in the collection.

@r2l100 The gold SeaQ is a great choice. Very easy to read the time, and good looking. But my favorite GO gold watch at the moment is Glashütte Original Senator Chronometer - red gold with silver dial. And the price is almost at the same level as the gold SeaQ in the grey market. I just love how the movement work in this watch. If someone want a gold watch with a black dial from GO, and find the SeaQ just to expensive, they can take a look at Glashütte Original Senator Sixties Panorama Date 39-47-02-01-04. Or a even smaller and less expensive gold watch, but without the Panorama Date: Glashütte Original Senator Sixties 1-39-52-02-01-04.

Love the SeaQ design, it surely is a worthy contender to the Submariner. And you know what else I love? The Tissot Heritage Navigator 160th anniversary edition. Inspired by the world's first time piece to display 24 time zones. That's a lot of time zones 👌.

Absolutely beautiful looking watch and at that sweet spot, I still believe the SMP300 is definitely the sub killer, but I really dig how they have the dial laid out with the alternative numbering and not the traditional 3,6,9. . Very very nice 👌🏼

Your pronunciation of "Glashütte" is pretty good, I've heard much worse before 😄 But the last part of the word is an "ehh" not an "eeee" so Glashüttehh not Glashütteee. I hope you get what I mean

As an owner of both watches, the Glashutte Original SeaQ 39.5mm watch is an upgrade to the Rolex Sub and GMT due to its finishing. Side by side the GO is a significantly better finished watch. No comparison. I own the blue with a fully brushed bracelet. Not a fan of the Gold.

Great review from a outstanding watch - after owning several Rolex , I can easily say that the Glashütte SeaQ is just in another level than any Rolex dive watch … the panorama Date is amazing juts a bit too big for my wrist so the 39mm fits perfectly- juts wish we could see the movement and have a mini panorama datum 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I tried the Glashutte SeaQ on today in Dubai and was super excited...seriously disappointed! The bracelet is awful - no taper, way too thick and felt cheap. The watch itself is way too big and thick. The bezel action as well is one of the worst I've ever felt on ANY dive watch. Worse than a seiko or Omega and nowhere near as nice as a Rolex or Tudor bezel. Really don't get the fuss and there is NO WAY I'd pick this over a Sub.

Beautiful watch...but I would rather pay the piper and go for the preowned Submariner for that price 🤣 if not buy a Vacheron constantin oversees 19k technically cheaper then the Glashutte🤔

If you are talking about the second generation Vacheron Constantin Oversees with three hands and a date (like 47040/B01A-9093), this watches use to cost about 25% of the price of today on the grey / second hand market. And like 40% of todays price like 2 years ago. I do not think the VC have the quality of GO SeaQ, and it might lose value even faster than a new GO ;)
