Fantastic to see you retrace a lot of the coastal landmarks my wife and I used to cycle past when we lived in South Devon. Tragically, like your friend Nelson, my wife took her own life last year, and on what would have been our 25th wedding anniversary I dusted off her old road bike and have been clocking up the miles on it ever since. It feels like she is with me on the rides, as she rode it for an hour every day right up until the day before she died. Thank you for your inspirational videos. It really motivates me to get out there, and I always feel better when I get back.

Nice ride Juilet. The memory of your friend Nelson will live on in the hearts and minds of those closest to him. We are fortunate to wake up every morning and cherish the day. At 67 I'm blessed with good health and a passion to ride. Keep up the excellent videos. You are an inspiration...

What an infectious inspiration you are Juliet! Two years ago, I lost my life long friend and cycling buddy to SCAD (Sudden Coronary Artery Di-section). Although he is still alive, he has severe brain damage. I never thought that I would ride a bike again, but watching your video's along with so many other kind people with in the cycling fraternity, has inspired my wife and I to once again get back in the saddle........ Thank you.

If I wasn't sold on visiting the area before you can bet I am now! Absolutely glorious scenery. I hope people watching understand that it's OK to feel emotions. Too many people hold them in. That goes for melancholy feelings as well as happiness. Juliet was a "tale of two faces" in this video. First, the jubilant look when she talked about brownies and then later, the exhausted face just after the ride. It's OK to display them both! I love the fact you are helping to educate people about CALM. I know only too well the issues surrounding men and their reluctance to seek help. We all think we can "fix" ourselves, but sadly that just isn't true. Kudos Juliet! I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. Let's hope that through efforts like yours and your husband Dave people get the help they need.

So sad to hear about Nelson's story, sometimes we just can't do it on our own and help becomes sorely needed; let's cherish our struggle on climbs, as we don't really know how much more we will keep on doing it. Beautifully done Juliet! 😃🙂🍻🏞🚲

Heartfelt video. You bring happiness to people. We all can go to dark spaces. One thing I always try to remember. Give a genuine warm smile to all. You may change the course of someone’s day or life. Take the time to reach out to those struggling. If someone pops into your mind out of nowhere call them. Pay attention to that inner voice. They may need you.

The colors are nice imho in the small towns there. I remember going to Ireland and it's similar. I was only in London so I didn't go to the small towns in England. I keep exercise to walking and body-weight training at this time. Cycling there might be a lot safer than the US. I'm done trying futilely to exercise to overcome bad diet. Went whole food-plant based to fix cholesterol 3 years ago and now I have no real problem with weight control; it can be a little challenge, but well within grasp.
