We went to the game to make a point to MLB, and the national media that the lack of attendance is not for a lack of Love of the team but it is in fact a protest against the ownership. We've been boycotting for years and the national media just says that we're not there because we don't like the stadium and that's not the reason. Not necessarily, MLB hasn't granted them permission to relocate. Only the stadium plan has been approved. Manfred could cave to pressure from owners and force a sale of the A's, and the new(hopefully) owners could restart talks with the city to build a new stadium in Oakland.
