looks like you had a great day out, you do keep some very excellent company ;) i appreciate you honesty, when you say its just the way days go, not quite to plan... for me, i don't know about you, that is the thrill, wondering what i might see on my day out. there's always something, no matter how big or small. oh those hornets looked amazing, i admit i am a bit nervous round those and wasps. but your words about them has made me feel like i should give them a second chance, its all about respecting their patch. excellent vlog.

Thanks! I agree, for most of these types of vlogs it's a case of being opportunistic. We just go out without knowing what we'll see. We'll usually have an idea of something that we might see if we're luck, like the cranes. But sometimes it works out, other times it might not. But there's usually something good to see.

A good honest recollection of a mixed morning! The cranes were a lifer for me and I've never seen so many dragonflies in one morning! The company was second to none too! 👍😉👍

Thanks Graham. It was a really enjoyable day and going back over the footage, there seemed to be more about than it seemed at the time. Sometimes it's just nice to be out and about with great company.
