Wow this had me in tears. One of the best days of my life. We were stood by the steps and grabbed all the players as they walked down the steps. Was lucky enough to be given that Nationwide "we're going up" flag and ended up with the original ribbons off the trophy. So much emotion in this video. Wrighty. Robbo. Sir Graham. Wow. Thank you for this 💛💛💛

Wow what a day that was i was an emotional wreck when we won i was crying i felt physically sick i felt numb all through pure joy i was so so proud of this team for what they have achieved and the fact they were willing to share it all with the fans graham and elton really did make watford a proper family club where everyone is welcome.

Remember being a kid and seeing Alec Chamberlain outside the ground, but he was in a rush and promised to give his autograph next time. Next game I was stood in the Lower Rous (now the Graham Taylor stand) and he recognised me, got a ball, signed it and gave it to me. What a man.

I'd moved to America that year and I couldn't see the game. My only option was to follow the game on Soccernet and to keep refreshing the page every minute for game updates. Definitely the agony and the ecstasy. :-)
