I installed my old ddpai n5 from my previous car. There's a BYD OEM dashcam that can installed cleanly behind the rear mirror. Kaya lang walang rear. I want to have both front and rear. There's also a 360 recording being tested by our friends in the SL6 owner's group in FB. Hindi pa recommended because it consumes a lot of system resources.

What's the reason why BYD turns to Gas mode during the 25% SOC while my solar inverter in my House goes back to utility at below 5% SOC?

it's not turning to "gas mode", the ICE starts to run as a generator to charge the battery. the reason is because it cannot run on ICE alone. remember, the DMi technology prioritizes the use of the battery and electric motor.

I never tried to replace tires when I had some flat tire. I just have to pressurize it and look for a vulcanizing shop. A Repair kit would help for a longer range until a proper vulcanizing shop is found.

Sa akin lang, ayoko ng television set sa head unit 😂, I was distracted when I sat in it. And I require ground clearance of at least 18cm (>20cm preferably). But I give it to BYD for the premium aethetics, comfort, and software, although I don’t need those much automation. Ung ventilated seats ang panalo sakin eh, sa sobrang pawisin ko… at ung presyo, sobrang tempting! Will try other EVs/hybrids before I decide…

I’m torn between this and BAIC B30e! Baic is more of a rugged machine and this is more of a futuristic look. Both hybrids. SL6 is PHEV and B30e is HEV.

hindi mauubos ang battery kasi yung ICE will automatically run and charge the battery, pero hindi sya magcha charge all the way to 100% (so far yan ang observation ko).

Nice Choice at least you have a good brother in law that used to work for Tesla to check and see the quality of the vehicle..if He was impressed coming from a Well known Tesla on BYD’s vehicle then thats good. At least you are open minded about the choices of the other vehicle in the market specially chinese cars..people are so stuck on sheep mentality of just sticking with one brand that they are used to not knowing what they get less quality,cheap materials and low engine with Overpriced vehicle..tired of people complaining about WPS or helping china blah blah a lot them are so hypocrite all their household stuff are made on china and some Vehicle parts from well known brand in the market are chinese made. The question is if filipino make a car brand of their own how many people will actually support it?? They like to criticize instead of supporting it..if you are a car enthusiast car brand shouldnt matter which country it comes from unless they are just bitter or just haters. I know they are new in the market but lets give them time to set their brand like Korean cars before a lot of people making fun of them now look how they are in the market and some of their vehicle are too overpriced like the japanese cars on the market..but congratulations on your new set of 4 wheels🎉

Idol, solid talaga mga review mo! Sana ma-review mo tong Sealion 6 vs Toyota Corolla Hybrid Cross. Sa BYD Sealion 6, may edge ka sa dual-mode tech, malaking infotainment screen, leather seats, at premium features-may kasama pang plug-in capability na may home charger, kaya sulit kahit sa monthly. BYD rin ang supplier ng Toyota next year, at kalahati ng mga iPad worldwide, gawa ng BYD. Worldwide, tinatalo na rin ang Tesla. Pero andiyan pa rin yung reliability at fuel efficiency ng Toyota Corolla Hybrid Cross. Kaya kung ikaw ang pipili, alin ang mas sulit para sa practical na Pinoy driver?

@TeamDyTV Kaya nga, sir, pero kung ikukumpara sa ₱1.498m na very basic na G variant ng Corolla Cross sa ₱1.548m na plug-in Hybrid ng Sealion 6, isipin na lang natin, full features vs. basic functions at reliability ng Corolla at mas kaunting features na posibleng masira in the future. Mahirap nga naman kung masira yung mga sensors, rotating screen, voice control, ADAS, etc.-hassle talaga yun. Power window nga nasisira pa rin, eh, lalo na yung mga ganyan pa! Yan mga wireless charger na yan, tapos data pa yung infotainment. Napakarami.

Latest pa ang technology, at enough na rin ang reputation ng BYD-kahit bago siya, nandiyan na rin ang ACMobility. Mukha ka ring practical pagdating sa pera at kotse, Sir; ayaw mo maluge. Pero itong value ng Sealion, panalong-panalo na talaga kahit may possible negatives at di pa proven ang long-term reliability. Para sa galing Ford, upgrade na rin talaga ito.

deal breaker for me is the inability of BYD cars to do a short blip on the horn. When it activates the horn, it is always full blast. As one reviewer said, laging galit ang horn. No short soft blip (which means excuse me in horn language).
