I was wondering if perkeo + chicot would be better. You can get much more hand size, which you could use as currency for more joker slots. With that, you could get more blueprints and brainstorms, and chicots. Main scoring factor would be mime + baron, meaby in addition, the observatory or cryptid. Not sure which would be better, one is more permament, while other gives more points. Only bad thing about this, is that you have to reroll for 2 good legendaries.

We've done this before, yeah, multiple Chicots + Perkeo. But this is considered a bug; we wouldn't consider it for a "glitchless" High Score, which I didn't say this run had to be, but I would like to be.

For anyone trying this seed on PS5 Pro, be careful: the game will consistently crash if you have more than 50 consumables held. I just lost this run because of an unrecoverable game state at A18 turning in hands at e70. I'm so bummed right now. I can do it again, just sucks. Keep your consumables at 45 or less and you're fine.

I'm curious, at 12:22 you use strength on the queens. Wouldn't it make more sense to use strength on the jacks? You get nothing from having more kings right now (except for completely eliminating the chance of being able to play extra hands for parking) and this way there's more cards that could be hit by a strength; instead of having 2 targets for the next strength you'd have 4 and then 2 (+whatever else is still left to strength)

In Ante 16, wouldn't it have been worth it to check for Ectoplasm before passing up the Mime? It wound up not being there, but surely if it was, it would have been worth it to take since it gives you a Balatrillion extra dollars per round in the short term (while you're waiting for Showman to appear).

Possible but obviously very rare. Worth considering if you have multiple Double Tags with a Negative Tag coming up. Generally, though, holding Showman takes up a Joker slot which could be a Blueprint or Brainstorm, making more Cryptids each Round.

I’m genuinely curious why you would even consider a voucher skip tag after getting Antimatter? Wouldn’t skipping a round cost you 6 Cryptids in the final round? You can go back in time any time before the ante where you need to start skipping to the serpent boss

I'm having trouble being a believer in taking a voucher skip. You should find the time travel vouchers eventually, and it does cost 6 cryptids to skip. Would you mind justifying it again? Also is the next part being streamed?

we actually want time travel asap now. We are making 6 cryptids per round which is the highest it could get in this run, and scoring requirements aren't high enough so we can play all 3 rounds in ante. If we get the - 1 ante in like ante 28 we would only be able to play 1 round (boss) without using any cryptids.

Why not the copy high card plantcards and use the vulture that gives 1.5mult for every plantcard of played hand. It will be so much more score.

It's not, by a lot. Observatory gives x1.5 for each Planet card upstairs. If cryptid creates 2 Kings, and Baron gives x1.5 for each, that's already twice as many x1.5s, compared to Observatory. Except, we can have multiple Barons and multiple retriggering effects like the Mime, copied with Blueprints and Brainstorm. With the current Jokers, one Cryptid is worth 50 Plutos.

Very Small optimization I found on your gameplay (which I'm very proud of) at 12:20 . You used Strengh in QQ, with a QQJJ Board. IMO you should use on the JJ instead, so the next time the purple seal gives you Strengh, it is more probable you can use it (I repeat, VEEERY small optimization!!) Huuuuge Fan

One factor that's making this optimization even smaller, is it's just as likely you'll get a death card instead of another strength card, and using a death on a jack is like using strength on it twice

At the end of the day, you will use Deaths (from King to King) to apply Seals onto "naked" Kings, so it is preferable to maximize the number of viable Death targets as early as possible. If open an Arcana Pack and get Death with AQQQQ in hand, none of the Queens can be used. Whereas with AKKJJ, the Kings are useful. Moreover, if you use Death on a Queen, any Strength (possibly multiple) used obtaining that Queen is wasted Strength anyway. And you are more likely to hold a Death card while shopping and to copy a Dead card with Fool, meaning you get a lot more Death than Strength and should optimize for that. Any Strength you do get might already be reserved for a specific purpose. Like, you could use Strength on any Jacks and then any Queens, but you might be saving your Strength for a specific card, such as a recently obtained Red Seal or Polychrome.
