A SERIAL KILLER'S WATERY GRAVEYARD?.. Pt2 ➦ (20 Cars Found)

Adventures With Purpose

8 ай бұрын

Driven by the haunting tales of William Lewis Reece's heinous serial killing crime spree, and the knowledge that more victims and their vehicles might be concealed beneath the water's surface, our mission becomes even more critical here on day 2 as we work to recover the first vehicle from beneath the river.
🎬.. If you missed Part 1, Watch it Here ➦ • Search for Serial Kill...
In this episode, the stakes are higher. The waters murkier. The discoveries? Unpredictable. As we follow the trail of submerged vehicles, each car we uncover could potentially hold the answers to decades-old mysteries. Could one of these be the final resting place of a victim? Or perhaps evidence that could bring closure to a grieving family?
Our team, undeterred by the bureaucratic hurdles that often hamper official investigations, dives headfirst into the challenge. With state-of-the-art sonar equipment, expert divers, and a determination to uncover the truth, we delve into the underwater graveyard that might have been Reece's sinister hiding spot.
But nature, too, throws its challenges. The effects of dredging have shifted cars, piling them atop one another, complicating our search. The once-sealed windows of vehicles might now be shattered, potentially washing away crucial evidence.
Yet, with every dive, we inch closer to the truth. A clear sonar image of an overturned car sparks intrigue. What might it conceal? And as our divers navigate this underwater maze, a vehicle spotted under a bridge adds another layer to the mystery.
Joining our team is a local firefighter and the canine coordinator for the Oklahoma Task Force. With Truman, the cadaver dog, on standby, we're prepared for any eventuality. Every discovery, every vehicle pulled from the depths, brings with it a wave of emotions, anticipation, and hope.
As we continue our quest, we remain committed to our goal: to shed light on the dark secrets hidden below, to bring solace to families in despair, and to ensure that the memories of the lost are honored.

Disagree, a show would make them change aspects of the channel that makes it so good and unique. Not to mention they'll dramatize it or draw 1 story out into like 4 episodes. Keep it on YT, no channel has ever survived becoming a show.

I almost didn't say anything but that flatbed operator is playing a lot of dangerous games. That type of recovery takes more knowledge than he seems to possess. Using the truck to pull dead weight is a no-no. Also, suspending the vehicle (and a ton of mud) on the end of the deck isn't what the bedlocks and tilt cylinders were designed for. At NO point should the front wheels have left the ground. You'd be looking at an instant and catastrophic failure with that type of mechanical leverage. Great job AVP - you never fail to impress with your courage and effort to bring closure to those in need.
@lilmockme8821
@lilmockme8821 3 ай бұрын
I'm an operator, and when the front tires leave the ground, your are doing something very wrong and dangerous. The rigging is key, keeping the line straight with the winch shows an operators experience. I'm not an expert, but I have done my time recovering cars in mud, snow, water, off cliffs, in ditches, valleys, and all kinds of scenarios. No jacket or some kind of weight incase the line snaps. Using the bed (roll out, roll in) to retrieve the casualty. One rule I go by, never trust anyones rigging, that last part when the exhause was ripped out, and car came off, I about lost it. Just saying, alot of abuse of tow equipment here.

@richardpickell8062 agreed. While it would be cool to see them pull a car with an RV, it is also a great risk to them of losing the RV in some way, shape, or form. It could also cause them tens of thousands of dollars in damages of not using the proper equipment.

I live in Inola, OK. There have been lots of cars down there for YEARS. Rumor is that most of them are stolen from Tulsa or insurance jobs. There have been many pulled out of there already for years. Back in the 90's, a guy was fishing there and come up with a 3rd taillight when his fishing lure got caught on one. Around 5 or so years ago, there was a video uploaded of an IROC camaro found down there. I have often wondered if that was where the 3rd taillight came from. There Rocky Point area, just down the river also has lots of cars. That area was sealed off back in the 90's, due to someone kidnapping girls in Tulsa and then killing them there.

Use tow trucks rather than your motor home! You need the motor home as your home and transport. Thanks again for the work you do.

As a fisherman and environmentalist I just want to thank you for not only searching for the missing, but also cleaning up our rivers. Thank you Cities along rivers should be made to pay into a fund that supports, a team of people who's sole job is to go up and down that river pulling crap out of em.

Thank you for asking for my opinion. I think you guys should use both, the wrecker truck and the RV to pull the vehicle out of the water. You help so many people that you can use what ever you want to. Be safe love y'all

How do people end up underwater so often? And these guys can find them? Thank you for not giving up and cracking cold cases for free. God bless to all who are dedicated.

When I see your lovely interaction with Doug at 6:00 I cannot believe that he left the AWP team, after all you had been through together and all the good you had done.

The RV would end up breaking somewhere. I vote tow truck.

Your rv wasn't built for that. You most likely don't have anything to connect to either. Rotators are pretty cool and can lift the RV like it was nothing.

I don’t think I’ll be calling miles towing lol, that was painful to watch! Let’s try pulling a car full of mud by it’s exhaust system 🙈
