3:25 Stormforth allows you to tribute Noir but it doesn't affect the player, it does affect the monsters. The reason it affects Noir because it's not an "activated" effect, it's a lingering effect.

In what way does Stormforth affect the monsters it's non targeting and non destructive? Monsters have no way to actively invoke their protections against it.

Kashtira being incredible cards that don't need their normal summon with great effects and providing tribute fodder for the Monarchs is just a good combo. Also to quickly clarify the Stormforth on Expurrely Noir thing. Stormforth counts as a continuous effect, Expurrely Noir is only immune to activated effects. Short and sweet video, love it.

I also noticed this interaction between Scareclaw Kashtira and Psychic End Punisher. Both PEP and Noir states that "unaffected by opponent's activated effects" but when in Battle Phase and Kashtiras declare atk with Scareclaw Kash on board, all of them gets NEGATED. Scareclaw Kashtira is really broken

It needs a tribute/normal summon engine like Floow has. Kaiju Monarchs that just tributes the opponents monster as cost to special summon themselves to your own field would be cool too, so you don't have to rely on Stormforth. Can't put too strong an effect on a monster with such powerful summoning mechanic though.

It might not be AS consistent(which is funny considering how often Kashtira can brick itself), but Monarch Man makes this look a lot scarier than actual Kashtira boards. Though considering who it is, that's hardly a surprise.

I was considering implementing a very similar combination of Kasthira (I run a deck with them already) with the Monarchs due to Kasthira being able to special summon for tribute summon fodder or being the tribute summon for the Domain when Ehther, Erebus or the Fiends don't reach my hand. Also, it is optimal to use two Upstart in a build like this.

In the first duel, you actually lost if your opponent wasn't a 0 IQ smoothbrain. They could have tributed Ze Amin to special summon Ogre, then used Ze Amin's GY effect to give Ogre 600 Atk to beat over Erebus. Then they are no longer extra deck locked and could have gone into an unaffected Psychic-End Punisher.

Slight variant for me, I didn't have enough gems to craft Pressured Planet and Kashtiratheosis and a third Erebus so I threw in staples like Harpie, CoH and Raigeki. currently sitting at 10-0.

You can’t Stormforth unaffected monsters, it affects the monsters on the field the same way Lair of Darkness does not the player. I couldn’t find any rulings on Stormforth Vs. “Unaffected by activated effects” (like Noir/P.E.P) so it might work on them I don’t know. But it’s not one of those cards that “affects the player” so you can’t out things like Underworld Goddess, Arrival Cyberse, Ultimate Falcon etc.

I was wondering, even in your IRL build how come you aren't on riseheart? The xyz lock doesn't matter with no ed, and it means you get to keep fenrir and have a free special that destroys part of their deck? Granted its actually worse in the MD build because you have less fenrir with 2 fenrir and 1 field spell opposed to real life with 6 + terraforming but for the IRL version it should be fine right?

If you want to make Majesty's Fiend viable use the trap card Safe Zone monsters equipped with it can't be targeted destroyed by card effects or battle rendering Kashtira useless.
