My 98 year old Mom died in a hospice room when everyone had left for a short dinner. The attendant said people usually pass when everyone has left the room. Perhaps this is the most peaceful way to go instead of relatives shouting at you that they love you and to please hold on.

@ Robert Anderson this is extremely interesting that you mentioned this because my step-father died after suffering from bowel cancer & he was actually in hospital & he died during the 5 or so mins that it took for my mother to go to the bathroom & return to his bedside & the ICU nurse said the exact same thing. Then my Nan also was in hospice & the same thing occurred, as soon as we left to go outside & have a cigarette upon returning to her room we discovered in that short amount of time that she too left this world & the hospice nurse repeated that same statement also, hence why when reading your comment it immediately caught my attention. So this for whatever reason is clearly 'a thing' that occurs definitely more often than not, interesting.

Even if relatives aren’t shouting at their loved one and asking them to hold on, but simply feeling the sadness and the heaviness of the grief of their impending loss can hold a Soul back. The best thing we can can do is to give our loved ones our blessing and permission to depart in peace, knowing the purpose of their being embodied has been fulfilled and is complete. Express your gratitude, say farewell, and give them the freedom to fly home unencumbered by the burden of feelings of guilt or responsibility for the pain of your loss.

I totally agree. There isn't a human being who has died, remembered his or her death and been born with memories of what happened between the birth and death. All these lectures by so called spiritual people are presumptions and assumptions.. We are all energy matter and energy matter is never wasted and recyled like water that evaporated to form clouds and comes down as rain. We are just one of the species. We are or no great consequence to the universe... All these lectures are doled out to naive, wide eyed people catering to what they wish to believe. Eternal life, rebirth etc. Hell is not a burning pit of fire in outer space with human bodies trapped inside. Hell is right here on earth where we repay our deeds. . No spaceship has sent photos of hell but just planets and meteorites nd stars whirring silently in space all placed into a system or perfect functioning..

@@radhasen.animalwelfare.5644 it’s nice to see someone that has a similar view on life death and the afterlife as me most people today are indoctrinated by some form of religious belief and lack the ability to think for themselves the idea scares them they need to be told what to think feel and believe but I knew since I was young I couldn’t just believe what I was told which is why even as a Christian I stopped believing in the idea of an eternal hell and started believing it was right here and now and based on your decisions and life choices your either in heaven or hell and eventually I left Christianity all together because it seemed clear to me that all religions had pieces of the truth but no religion had the entire truth so I made it my life’s goal to sort through all the errors and find the truth but at the end of the day even I could be wrong all I can do is give my best effort

@@humanbeing2450 I believe our souls are like us in real life, and our soul's avatar that is our physical body and ego is our video game charachters that we create, so we can play a game, like in minecraft, explore, build, adventure. The charachter hurts when falling from high places, when he eats the wrong food, starts drowning, but we, the player do not remember that, we remember what was built, explored and conquered. Thus, staying too long in heaven gets boring and you want to have some fun.

@@nayanjyotidas230 From ancient teachings going back 10 thousand years. You didn't live, you've never lived, you don't have a life.. because you ARE life itself! .. So you never actually die, because you (The real you) never was born. The real you is timeless and eternal. Only the artificial concept of yourself dies, the closed loop of believing that you're a small, separate individual that dies. They call it "Ego Death". If you can let your ego die, then you can really start living! That why I insist that this particular "guru" is a fake, because he doesn't seem to teach these things.

Wow I’m kind of speechless at listening to this man’s words. My mother died when I was 14 from complications from liver issues from alcoholism. She was not in a good place when she passed. The night before she passed she came and told me she loved me and to take care of my father. Without going to deep into it, she passed in the morning while we were at church but here’s the part that has stuck with me for 34 years. I had a dream that night unlike any I’ve ever had before and since. It’s hard to describe because in it I could hear my mother screaming but it was something I could feel as well like I was falling that sensation you get in your stomach. There was no light only darkness. Again I’ve never had a dream like that again but his explanation of how fear and paranoia can snowball in the afterlife sounds like what I experienced.

Old thinking has been that if we do bad in this life will have bad karma and go to Hell at death. The problem is that people born with problems might do bad because they cannot control themselves or, at minimum, do nothing with their lives due to limitations. How would this make sense that they are to suffer at birth, through life, and then after death? My belief is we are like waves in the ocean. We rise from the source, become identifiable, crest, fall, and go back to the source. We are not individuals, like the wave does not separate from the sea as it rises.

Quite right. The existence of "good" and "bad" is simply one of the reminders that we are the one thing that splits to experience itself as one (once again). So if one is "bad" or does "bad things" it means we all failed to stand by him. Once we remember these things "evil" can rest in peace because it's fullfilled its purpose.

We do not get this kind of info from quran bible torah.. maybe inside kaballah which in actuality just diaries of experiences of rabbis' spiritual life stories... *mysticism* is totally discouraged for low level maturity believers of Abrahamic religions. They are literally *satisfied in deceiving themselves that what they read, preached to and experience superfluous written holy words are the ONLY TRUTH* . Tragic is the word. They will endlessly going through the samsaric circles of life, until their sudden *AHA* moment come and learn how to FINISH UP/extinguish the Karmic energies that bind them.

There is no all encompassing law that applies to every situation. There was a lady who rescued many Jewish children from the Nazis in WWII. When she was discovered the Nazis chased her and while running from them she threw herself under a train to commit suicide rather than be captured by the Nazis. I feel that she doesn't suffer for this, but if anything would be rewarded. You can't say that, 'she died violently therefor she has a bad afterlife', as if you're a bureaucrat in a Government agency ticking boxes and directing people to their fates! Life is complex. Every situation is different. You must look at the individual situation. These talks are too general to take that into account. Don't fret, it's all good in the end. 🙂 "Why all this talk about enlightenment? Whatever path I take, I'm going home." 🙂 "Every individual being returns to the common source. Returning to the source is serenity." Lao Tzu - Tao Te Ching. (Stephen Mitchell translation.)

I was raised Catholic- But I am also very sensitive to energies and am an empath. What you are saying matches up more with my feelings I’ve always had about the ‘next life’. ❤ I feel a sense of validation now after hearing your words and am very appreciative 🫶🏻❤️ I have always felt that life is a huge mass of energy. I said I was sensitive above; which just means I’m sensitive to the energies around me whereas others can be completely oblivious. I liken it to having a heightened sense of intuition. I can feel somebody’s auras or energies but the way they calculate in my brain is through color. So instead of a visual representation of the color of a persons auras- I can FEEL the color? I guess the best way to explain is this: if a certain energy is more angry or callous or arrogant- it comes across as Red. If an energy is emotionally charged - love, kindness, sadness- It comes across as Blue. Calm and peaceful energies come across as Green; and so on and so forth. So when you’re talking about the state of the energies when passing; a lot of things clicked for me. Because I definitely feel the energies here on earth that are left behind. I believe in spirits or energies roaming the earth- what we would call- Ghosts. And I’ve always looked upon those energies as being stuck in Limbo. Some of those energies can be benevolent and some malevolent depending on their state of mind when passing. Like when somebody says a house is haunted with an angry or evil spirit- I think that energy; when it was linked to a body- must have experienced a horrific end. Or maybe it was an evil spirit attached to the body all along. Just thoughts- and i probably sound crazy but this helps me to put pieces together that I’ve always known were there but could not properly express before. ❤️❤️❤️

I won't say that I agree or disagree with what Sadhguru says, I don't have a broader knowledge on the topic to do it, but I can testify that what he says about the connection between way of death and reincarnation is probably true. I experienced it in one of my past lives. Death at a young age (assassination) got me to stay nearly 19 centuries in limbo because I died with the feeling of yearning for someone from that timeframe.. I still feel that yearning up to this day. A feeling so scary and prodigious, it got me, a Westerner, to believe in reincarnation more than anything!

Gurdjieff mentions these tendencies as crystalizations, good or bad, useful or not, and says that the concept of afterlife depends on them. As it seems no matter the challenges, we have to figure certain things out while still alive if we aim to a certain continuity. The state we leave this world is inherited to our next life. It is very important we learn to read certain signs, our idiosyncrasies, no matter the social context. Knowledge of the self is probably the key of the universe.

@Instant Karma you do have some points but thing is your approach is also cocky so this cancels what you're saying. I do possess a critical filter, I just felt like commenting on a subject I find intriguing if you don't mind. My main references come from ancient Greek philosophy, and anima mundi and individual soul aren't identified there although they come from Oneness anyways, the Monad. Now, keep your thinking and investigation and I will do the same.
