My daddy is not my “biological father” he had a vasectomy before I was conceived and he knew I wasn’t his, but he was there for my mom through everything. He brought me home on his birthday and said that was the best gift he could ever have. I am now 31, and he has never treated me differently than my brother and sister. I also have a little brother who is now 21 and he has done the same with him. Both mine and my little brothers biological fathers gave my mother money for an abortion and told her after she said she would not do it they told her that we would never amount to what our older siblings are. Eventually our bio’s wanted to be in our life and my brother’s father I guess was okay. He certainly didn’t treat him like his older child, but my bio father? Oh he beat me, put a pillow over my face to see how long it would take before I passed out. He would get me drunk and I pass out so he could have friends over to party and forced me to brush the toilet with my personal toothbrush that I used. He got so enraged one time that he beat me and my stepsister with a belt buckle and tried to keep me away from my momma and daddy for 2 weeks. Those bruises were still very visible when my daddy came and got me cuz he just said fuck you im coming to get my baby girl and they seen the bruises when I went to change clothes and cops were called immediately and cps was involved the very next day. I would do anything for that man. He is truly an amazing father and I am very blessed to have him.

From the moment I was born my dad has always treated me different from my older sister. There is no doubt in the world that I'm not his daughter...I mean I look and act a lot, if not exactly like him in some cases... But when my dad was a kid, his dad neglected him and favoured his first born/ my dads older brother. And he's carried that trait on to his own kin and it is life destroying for the child who has to experience that sort of neglect. I was around the same age as this poor kid when I realised my dad was doing exactly this and it effected me as a kid and still does 20 years later. He still continues to do it now and it hurts just as much as when he did it when I was an infant. Its a painful wound to have - knowing that no matter what you do, you're never going to be loved or given the same affection or appreciation compared to your other sibling(s). And no matter how much they try later in life to possibly fix what they're done, the damage is already done......I just hope this kid will be okay and not have to go through this x

That first story I can related to my youngest daughter get mistreated by her father family especially her grandpa and they brainwashed her father also because he already got a son by another woman and they treat his son way better than my daughter but at the end of the day I don’t call them or anything the only person that helps me is my mom and I’m so thankful 💯🙏🏾

Gotta love how these women can lie to a man about being the father and then when they tell them the truth, they have the audacity to say "I'm sorry" like no. That's not "I'm sorry" what you did can't be fixed by that. A man was excited to be a dad, and clearly supported him thinking it was his son, and you, for a long period of time, knew he wasn't the father but didn't tell him at any time. It's disgusting. I've seen stories of men paying for their children only to find out that they were raising another man's son, and it destroys them. It's terrible that this keeps happening. At least he still cares about that little boy even if it might not be his.

I, like everyone else, am sadly watching this show … because as humans- we are drawn to drama and disfunction! Steve is a good guy who wants to help people who are horrible to each other or one abuses the other or one cheats on the other. In cases like this- it’s a no win situation. So many women don’t feel they deserve better…and that makes it a no win! Unless you get help for the partner who is treated badly- they will never have the life they deserve.
