Truely, happiness is within.. not in materialistic things. Never compare yourself with another. Because there is always someone who is better than you, richer than you, happier than you... handsome or beautiful than you...such comparision always leads to unhappiness.

It’s true that financial stability offers the freedom to focus on what truly matters: the joy of family, the pursuit of passions, and moments of peace. Your story speaks to the universal truth that happiness often lies in the harmony between external stability and internal fulfillment. Happiness is often imagined as something to be earned, found, or achieved, but the truth is far simpler and far more profound. Imagine a man, rich in possessions but hollow in spirit, endlessly chasing the mirage of fulfillment through material wealth. One day, he meets a humble traveler with nothing but a smile and a serene heart. Curious, the man asks, 'How can you be happy with so little?' The traveler replies, 'Because I treasure what cannot be taken away-peace of mind, love, and the joy of being alive. Wealth is not in owning more, but in needing less.' This tale reminds us that happiness doesn’t live in things-it resides in how we perceive the world, in the gratitude we hold for life’s simplest gifts.

The moral of the story? If you have wealth don't be anxious about losing it. Just enjoy it. No need to be paranoid. The only thing I learned here is that both the cobbler and the rich man were paranoid.
@awakeingstory202420 күн бұрын
The contrast you’ve drawn between the cobbler and the rich man highlights a universal truth-paranoia and anxiety can rob us of joy, regardless of our circumstances. It’s a reminder that wealth, in any form, isn’t about accumulation but about how we live with it. Enjoying what we have, without the shadow of fear, is a freedom many overlook. Your insight encourages a deeper reflection on the true essence of contentment. What do you think it takes for someone to shift from living in fear of loss to fully embracing and enjoying the present?
@monsterhuntervideos444620 күн бұрын
@awakeingstory2024 I think it involves being in the present moment. All anxiety and fear emerges when you're worrying about what might happen in the future. If your're mainly focused on the present, even if something bad happens you'll going to deal with the situation then and there, and only dealing with emotions in the present due to a real situation, rather than always worring due to thinking about imaginary or possible futures. We suffer more than we need to. If you subtracted needless suffering from humans, and only the inevitable suffering was left, our suffering would be reduced massively.
@awakeingstory202420 күн бұрын
@@monsterhuntervideos4446 Living in the present moment is an art, and your reflection on subtracting needless suffering is a powerful reminder that much of our pain stems not from reality, but from our minds weaving potential catastrophes. Your point about facing emotions only when they arise in the present is a liberating perspective, one that aligns so well with timeless Stoic wisdom. It’s incredible how clarity emerges when we stop feeding the shadows of "what if" and focus on "what is."

@awakeingstory202420 күн бұрын
It’s true-on the surface, receiving a bag of gold might seem like a universal key to happiness. Yet, the story reminds us that wealth often comes with its own weight-responsibilities, fears, or a loss of simplicity. Perhaps the cobbler’s discontent lies not in the gold itself, but in what it symbolized: a disruption to his carefree joy. Your perspective challenges the narrative, and that’s what makes it so intriguing.
