I’m 72 years old, playing guitar with a bunch of friends; people I love. We perform at retirement centers and homes for the aging…older than me. We never finish a performance that our hearts are not warmed by these folks who have lived amazing lives. We share beautiful musical moments and leave uplifted. Thanks for sharing. Just beautiful!! ❤❤

I love that you all care to share that kind of love for others...it's something I love to do too. Back in Wyoming there's a little get together in the senior center mostly bluegrass..my second love..for anyone who wants to listen..or play. To me..this is like a little piece of heaven.🎶💜

I am 72, I own and run a small lodge on the river in Montana. I have two Harley bikes. Almost died 2.5 years ago when I wrecked. I am back on my bike. I live hard and love hard. Thanks for a great song.❤ getting old is not for the faint of heart. But I'll take it!

Hello, where in M9ntana? My husband and I want to visit Montanam. Grateful to hear you are on your bike again.

So I would love to know where your bed and breakfast is. It sounds like visiting with you would be as fun as trying out the bed and breakfast particularly for a Solo Traveler. Riding a motorcycle would be a little scary for me but horses would be another thing and chatting with a 72 year old woman bike rider would be comforting and hopeful about the future for the 64 year old woman who will never give up trying new things or growing or give in to the stereotypes about older women...
Just found you. Gonna share this on Gab. You shared that beautifully! I'd like to hang out with you and harmonize with you all day! I'd never feel that comfortable in front of a camera though! You seem to be a strong woman. Thanks for sharing your journey. I'll look for you again.

I'm a guitar playing 24 year old who can't imagine getting older, I didn't think I'd make it past 15, nor did I want to. Every year I'm alive is a surprise to me. This video came across my recommended feed and I clicked on it, completely not expecting the thought that came into my head watching you play this, "Maybe I do want to grow old." Thank you for the inspiration. The idea of growing older and still playing guitar is a wonderful reason to stay alive💚

Thank you so much for letting us experience your wonderful talent. We need each other, and we need people from every generation! We have devalued the wisdom of white hair, of grandmothers and grandfathers, and it’s been to our loss and detriment! We have to wake up and open up that treasure again, because we are not whole without it! Love to you. Please keep on being this beautiful influence that we so badly need in this country! 🩷🩷🩷🎼🎼🎼

He created us in His Image snd Created the Universe Divine. He created us to enjoy Him and enjoy each other. For Made in His Image, He would enjoy seeing us enjoy each other. It’s good the way you live. More of the simple, folks helping each other. Admire your courage and strength. I’m 71 got to get somewhere. For now, gotta be simple. Very well said, Medicineheart ❤ Blessings to ALL 🙏 We can get through this ! I turned 70 in January. I'm Thanking God right now for my wonderful parents. They're both up in heaven now and HOW I MISS them both it makes my heart ache. A great church I attended in the 1990's in Marysville WA brought those who desired to go as a group to an Old Folks home, now called a Nursing home. We would sing Gospel songs for them my Pastor new the old songs. These wonderful elderly would perk up and I could saw the light of God resurrect inside them! I'm very glad for that great experience. I will never forget how peaceful I felt there. And how great it was we sang the old gospel hymns. So they could sing along or just hear them and light up with a glow of happiness ❤❤❤ 😊

Oh my! Love your song! I just lost my Mom of 93 yrs. I identify with your remarks about homes, but I never abandoned my Mom, fortunate enough to hire caregivers, and was with her everyday. I am an only child. My heart is broken as I miss her everyday. I have played guitar, sang, performed, written sings since I was 12 yrs old. I am soon to be 67...still playing and singing, especially for nursing homes. Thank you for your inspiration.

She said it all! I worked in a nursing home caring for them, it's true it's not about you or your paycheck it's about them! I've seen girls walk into a room and argue and complain with residents and never understand why they were there. I got more joy and compassion from listening to them, I'd ask them all kinds of questions, and see them keeping on keeping on and many no family to visit and like she said adjust to their environment and the people around them. I didn't realize though that some things that bothered me till I quit working there and they're the ones going through it. Most of which were other co-workers and the place I worked was considered a really good place. This song beautifully played I love the sound of box guitar. Good song and I had to smile every time she did beautiful smile beautiful lady beautiful soul! ❤

I am 65 and trapped in an ailing body wracked with pain that keeps me from the sea that I love and the mountains I crave. I came across you accidentally and want to thank you for taking me to the places I can no longer go. ❤

Have you heard of virtual reality tours? I don’t know if you’re financially able to purchase a headset ! It will take you on walks and nature to the mountains, to the sea all the places you’re craving now that you can’t go to any longer. I think it would be good to lift your spirits. It’s an avatar sort of thing and you’re actually walking around in nature and at the beach maybe you can try it ?! If possible I hope your pain gets more tolerable, and your imagination never stops. Blessings.❤️❤️❤️❤️☮️👋😊🎸🥁

You can also search KZbin for guitar or piano music that has beautiful drone video of sweeping landscapes...some are hours long.

I'm not far behind you and wondering how many more years I will have by the seashore that defines and completes me. (With respect to a previous commenter, VR is not nothing, but it's... not the shore either.) Will keep you in my thoughts and hope for better things ahead for you.
