A British friend of mine who is an atheist said I should show him where the Bible said that after death there will be no repentance cause I asked him that if he dies and finds out that Jesus Christ is the way, what will he do then? He said he will ask for mercy and I said in death there is no repentance then he said I should show him in the Bible. Can you help me with scriptural verses? The answer to these objections is really quite easy. In the biography of Jesus in Mark 14:61-62 Jesus is being questioned by the high priest. Jesus answers with a reference to Daniel 7:13-14 that His kingdom is everlasting. Who is the only 1 who’s dominion is everlasting? Who is the only 1 who’s kingdom will never be destroyed? Only God of course. Therefore, the high priest knew that Jesus was claiming equality with God with this reference. That is why the high priest ripped his clothes and said, “You have heard the blasphemy!”

Also John had used the I"am statement more than the other gospels, because in verse John 20:31.....John tells us why the gospel was written .But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. The term son of God means the same as God . When Jesus said that he was the I"am he was claiming to be God .

Sam, is their a way we could speak, I would love for you to mentor me, I am a believer in Christ and the Trinity, I am trying to convert a 17 year old boy from Islam to Christ, I have been reading the Quran and the hadiths, but I get confused by language, and could use some wisdom to help me bring this kid to the light. He is so blinded by Islam even when I bring up things I know about, like the flying donkey, or horse of light that Muhammed supposedly flew on, and how he married a child, killed and raped women, killed Jews, I know how allah permits decapitation and to remove finger tips of the non believer, I know about how he apparently split the mood.
