I have an idea for you sister Helen! These are essentially korean potato chips that you just made with your' own recipe. You could manufacture these and make millions! I know if i saw em in the store i would get em! We need more korean food on the general market. Theres not enough korean food in this country. I know theres a few states that have their korea towns but i mean just even in the mainstream we need more korean food. Ive been everywhere at this point and i can assure you that there are plenty of states missing out on korean food. I do enjoy trying to make different korean foods but it just aint the same if aint made by an actual korean person. Its just more authentic period. Having grown up in the pacific islands nothing beats the real deal. I really wish they had a korean restaurant in my area i would be breakin down the doors to get in. Only down in NYC i believe they have a korean population, to my knowledge. So ya real korean food is sadly out of my reach. Watching your channel gives me what i cant have! Keep up the good work sister!

Hi Helen, why did you take out the Sweet Rice Flour from your original recipe? I have to admit, the potato pancakes comes out prettier though but don't know about the texture difference.

Hi 👋. You can make this with Sweet White Rice Flour or Potato Starch. Either ingredients work to bind the potato purée.

Recipe looks delicious although would NEVER use corn or seed or nut oil ( except avocado or macadamia oils which are stable in heat and light ) corn oil make this good rancid and high in trans fats …shame because she’s a fab cook recipes

Hi 👋 As noted in the video, you can use any cooking oil of your choice (except for sesame oil) for pan frying these potato pancakes. As for me, I use corn oil, occasionally, and it is also used by specialty restaurants that specialize in these potato pancakes.
