Hubnut's Perodua is a very interesting car indeed. The Skoda S110 and the Wartburg bring back happy memories from childhood. The Wartburg Knight has a particularly pretty shape both in Saloon and Estate. I think that the Figaro was Eggshell colour. We love the Daewoo Espero Sir .

I've had my 1962 P4 100 Rover for a couple of months now. Like you, I found the gears incredibly hard to manage at first because the gear stick kind of sits in the air so you have to get used to intuitively knowing where to move it to. However, I did get used to the gear changes after a few drives. I would think it would be impossible for most people not to crunch the gears repeatedly for the first few drives at least. The other negative feature of the car is how heavy its stearing is. If one is usually driving a modern car and then takes a P4 for a drive, I think the heavy steering will always take a minute or two to adjust to. On the plus side, I hadn't realised what a beast the P4 is under the boot. And that is one of its best features. Having overdrive makes all the difference.

Yes, the video is on the Sensible Secondhand Reviews/Classics playlist! The steering is very heavy and about 4.6 turns lock to lock. I remember it well. The gear change was...interesting! Can't remember if I crunched during the changes or not now, I probably did. Thank you very much indeed for watching and commenting.

Yes, I wasn't very impressed with the Crossfire, really. I did take a lot of criticism at the time for the video, but I stand by what I said. The SLK, at least, wasn't pretending to be something that it wasn't.
