And to think people go out of their way to say they think this band sucks…to each their own, I get it, but even if I don’t care for a band, I don’t ever go out of my way to post about how much they suck…like damn people, use you energy for good! Life is short! Honestly, what I think it is, is metal elitists who are mad at the fact that Sleep Token is labeled as metal, but they’re progressive and incorporate all genres and they don’t like that I easily get emotional in general, especially with music…it speaks to me so immensely…I’m just mad that it took me so long to discover this band!! They are the epitome of everything o love about music all put together in one beautifully wrapped package! I really enjoyed watching your Sleep Token journey! Thank you for deciding to go back to the beginning and going through the entire trilogy! 🤘🏻

III & IV make sure the crowd participates. Rain was instantly a favorite, i love the rain effect at the end. This song soothes me like a gentle summer rain. This song brings me to tears after many many Iistens. Ascenionism is powerful but this song is beauty in all aspects of the word in my humble opinion. Particularly the middle part which identifies the absolute tragedy that we can never appreciate anything with total clarity until it is gone. This song also has one of the most amazing and viscerally visual lines I’ve ever heard “I don’t know what has its teeth in me, but I’m about to bite back in anger“ every time I hear that song I see a imagery in my mind of epic battle of someone just wrestling some beast, and that beast can symbolize whatever it is in their life that’s keeping them down. And the person fighting it has the humility to recognize they may not be able to identify it, but they know it’s there, and it’s time to take it by the neck and control it.

They played this live when i saw them in detroit back in September and in a room of almost 5000 people all clapping and singing in sync with each other with vessel centerstage was POWERFUL. I cant even put into words to explain the energy in that room as they played that night. And i was so blessed to be almost at the barricade right in the pit in the middle of it all. TMBTE definitely hits different once you have the backstory. Euclid even more so. I like your analogy to watching Star Wars right at the climax of the whole series and then going back to watch the rest of the trilogy from the start lol, pretty applicable to this sega of a story and band. Vessel really does weave quite a tale of sadness and anger in such an elegant way that I don't many other bands or composers know how to. And then to sum up the emotions with screaming and a breakdown at the end of this song? Chefs kiss perfection.

I am so proud of you for letting your emotional flag fly this video! I personally struggle with showing emotion at all! Curse you societal norms. Anyone who bashes you for showing emotion is letting their toxic masculinity show. Don't listen to them! The reason why I have followed you through this journey is your honest displays of emotion. Not everything is going to get you there, but when it does you don't hide it even though you restrain it a little (not an easy thing to do). Looking forward to your Euclid reaction and I hope you were not dreading it going into it. It's an uplifting overwhelming amount of emotions listening to that song. At least it is and was for me. No amount of self-sought fury will bring back the glory of innocence" then intertwining lyrics from 'Chokehold' into a heavy breakdown screaming "I have travelled far beyond the path of reason" is like the perfect summation of so many feelings you can pick from this whole trilogy of albums By this point, you've more than likely finished the album with the last song recorded. 🤧yeah just raining on my face, no big. (the song) Rain is a barn burner live. Vessel begins with a bit of doodling on the piano and then it just launches off like a rocket. It's hard to explain to someone new to this band why you don't get the full body slam without starting from the beginning of the discography. But when you do, it gives everything so much more flavor and color. And if you listen to the entirety of this album in one go that's another emotional journey in itself. Now it's going to be a long wait until you upload Euclid.

Been on this journey with you but haven’t said a word, just appreciating these videos from afar but i gotta just say i truly appreciate these man. Really. And your vulnerability takes a lot of heart to express publicly and just want you to know isn’t taken for granted. A lot of us can relate and have related to these emotions for years. Beyond a special band and you either get it or you don’t. You fully get it. Now this next song, as a OG fan of Sleep Token.. I had a full fuckin religious experience over upon first listen the night it came out. The song is beautiful sonically of course, but the lyrical callbacks to songs that i’ve gone through years worth of trauma, heartbreak, depression, grieving, and even the really great memories.. That song floored me by the end and was in actual tears. I don’t know how to prepare you without spoiling, but i’m just gonna say the trilogy in itself is basically a cycle and could end in Euclid, then go straight back into where the first album starts. It’s the greatest payoff finale ever as if it were a tv series that had been on air for a decade and is given the proper ending with easter eggs. Best way i can explain it Worship, my friend🙏🏽

I have been a part of your viewing journey since you started down the ST road. ST is NOT just a band, they are a spiritual journey, an emotional upheaval of sorts, and a gorgeous influence in the rearrangement of our souls after listening to them. The tears you spilled mirror my own. I am not much of an empath but the music has exposed a vulnerability I never knew needed to be exposed. Dare I say it, the vulnerability ST influences is gorgeous poignant rollercoaster men and women alike can express and mature from, in the best way possible. Euclid will round out this gifted process. ST has a permanent place in my heart, mind, and soul. Your reactions are awesome!

I've ALWAYS thought this about Sleep Token....yes, these songs and albums are supposedly based on something bigger ....but to me, it feels much more simpler.....this is a journey from losing someone he loved very deeply....the songs are a look inwards on the heartache and depth the pain of this loss can send someone....the yearning to be back with this person and the journey into living life without this person and realization that you'll never get this person back in your life and having to deal with that

The record tmbte makes all of the other records incredible for me. But the song I keep coming back to over and over more than the rest is Take Me Back To Eden, which is something because ST records are all I seem to listen to for the past four months. I don’t know why exactly this is thee song for me. But it’s refreshing every time. I think it’s the way he says the word amount in the lyric no amount of love, similarly I think the way he sings “Self sought fury” is so emotive and real. But this is the pinnacle of rock music for me. Especially since I’ve been obsessed with bands like Pink Floyd and zep and pantera and Metallica and Prince. I hope my intuitions are correct in thinking these guys have beautifully wedged themselves into the pages of music history with something we needed at this point in time. Thank you for being part of the journey..

My daughter asked me had i heard Rain yet (after she introduced me to the Summoning) and i told her on repeat....I really loved the drums jn the Summoning and Rain. II is awesome no doubt, but I was as blown away by II's drumming like immediately, before i knew the entire lore and discography. I just knew they were special. I'm excited for the Euclid reaction. Rain was the first standout on this album on my first full listen through, every song is great but I think what caught my attention the most was the middle when the bass opens up and II does the little splash, reminded me a lot of how alkaline opens up and I think that’s why it hits so hard Take me back to eden hit me like a truck and I was crying at work for a moment and then Euclid… well I’ve never been so emotional about music and it’s refreshing and heartwarming you show your emotions in these reactions, love it man keep it up ❤️

Also if you listen to Chokehold you can hear the birds in the beginning behind the background of the droning soundscape. Edit Just finished the reaction, and I send hugs. It's okay, this song hits hard with context. Thank you for going back to the beginning to receive it...🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 2nd edit. You are pronouncing Euclid properly, and as it is the name of the father of geometry it also means "glorious and renowned". I feel the definition is more pertinent than the geometry guy, but you can make up your own mind on that.

Another song I liked but didn’t care for and now it’s one of my favorites. And yes this song is fantastic live! So is ascensionism which they debuted in the US tour 😭 also, each song the more you listen (at least for me) hits harder with each listen. TMBTE was the song that roped me into sleep token and it’s still a very emotional song. Same thing with Euclid. It’s so amazing. All of sleep token is amazing and has a way to keep you captivated. (Again, at least for me) That’s why I love them.

TFW you both hope you did and didn't record Euclid straight after. Knowing you did i can say this: the star wars analogy is one I've used for Euclid. It shits me no end when people suggest listening to a certain song before listening to Euclid, because that's not context at all. At all. Bravo my man for getting here 👏
