This reaction is so perfect, my friend. This is what really, really good music does - it makes us feel something. When it's this profound, it hits with a lot of force and it was a privilege to be able to watch you have that raw experience, and Christ, it takes a lot of guts to share that with the world so mad, mad respect to you for that alone. This is the first song I heard from the 2nd part of their TMBTE album. It just disintegrated me. Jaw to the floor, tears in my eyes, and I had to take a walk. Couldn't listen to one more song of them because I was too overwhelmed. You felt it too. don't you? Years of emotions packed into a 7 minute song.

I saw them in September and thought it would be Ascensionism that took me out. I was dumbfounded, though, when Vessel played the opening notes of Atlantic and I burst into tears. Literally just sobbed for 5 minutes straight while I purged my thoughts and emotions. Seeing them live was easily one of my greatest life experiences.

I HATE making this comparison, but Vessel is the Taylor Swift for metal heads. He perfectly encapsulates every emotion in just one song. And it's in each and every song. The lyricism, the overall construction, production. It's fucking incredible. Leo (opps) is a musical genius. He'll take you high, low, high, and low again and ending it with an even bigger high. I hope this band gets the true recognition that they truly deserve

Looks like Sleep's got another one, folks. Welcome. There seems to be a point with this band (unless you immediately hate it) that you just ~get it~. I could tell from your smile in the Back to Eden video you were on the path, but I see the switch flipped here. If you like an emotional journey, oh boy is this is the band for you. If you're wondering where to start, I'd start at the beginning with EPs 1 and 2 and carry on through the albums in order - this gives the most emotional payoff as a fan. But if you want a fast fix, you could begin with the latest Take Me Back to Eden album from the beginning but don't listen to the last song (Euclid) until you've listened to all the other tracks on all three albums. The albums are intended as a trilogy, and that song is somewhat of a series finale for all three albums. 🙏

The thing I love about Sleep Token is their use of genres to create the different emotions they want to portray through a song and it literally does feel like a rollercoaster. I also think the masks help with someone showing their vulnerability, which Vessel is a master at. It’s not a surprise to see so many people, like yourself, feel that vulnerability too. There’s been such a stigma regarding men showing emotions , which isn’t a good thing in my opinion, that I have nothing but praise for anyone, particularly a man, openly expressing it, as hopefully others will see it as an actual strength in character, which it is, not a weakness. I highly suggest just starting from the beginning and working your way through their first EPs and then all three albums…it’s a rollercoaster of a ride and a very emotional one at that! Make sure to watch the ones that have music videos because for a few of them, it’s very important, in my opinion! Definitely do not react to Euclid until you have finished all three albums..I understand your reaction 100%…music is the universal language and Sleep Token speaks volumes..hell, they scream! I’m very much an empath, or whatever you want to call it, and music makes me extremely emotional…I form an insanely strong bond to songs that speak to me and I will play them over and over and never get sick of them…I’m sure it drives my husband crazy 😂 He’s a musician, but it hits him differently.

In case you are unaware, this album is the final part of a trilogy. To get the full effect of what ST can do to your emotions, you should stop doing the tracks from this album and go back to the start of the first album, Sundowning. Dude, this is one long trip and by the time you get to the last track on Take me back to Eden, you ugly cry. But without the last track is great, but you won't appreciate it half as much as doing the 3 albums. Dig in dude. You're going to need some emotional armour for trip. Worship and enjoy

His music is SO, so emotional and heartfelt (sometimes heartbreaking), but if you listen to his major songs in order they tell a story of his life. People often refer to this as "The Journey." Dude if you want hip hop and metal perfectly blended, look up BxMxC by Babymetal. Another big group like Sleep Token who have taken the helm of eradicating genre in the metal scene.

Great reaction. only criticism i have is, the audio levels for the music are way too low. I have pretty good headphones and its very low, id up the sound from the video a little bit
