Ahsoka is like A New Hope. We got dropped into episode 4 with only a scrawl for backstory. Like in that movie, we’re able to accept the characters have history we don’t know about, that they existed before we first meet them. The biggest difference between the two is you can see the backstory right now. I had to wait 15 years.

This episode is a masterclass in world building for those who didn't watch any of Dave's animated projects. This first episode ties specifically to CW(Huyang) and Rebels(Sabine, Hera, Ryder Azati and Jai Kell). But Dave also worked on Bad Batch, Tales Of The Jedi and Resistance. The main plot ties into the previous works. And Clancy first appeared as Governor Azati in season 2 of Rebels

Theres a weird amount of kotor and old republic refrences, but as to how sabine could possibly survive , there was a dark lord called darth sion who was basically just a massive ashy scab with one eye , held together with only willpower , and u kill him by bullying him lol , thats obviuosly the crazy powerful version , but kylo ren shrugging off a wookie blaster bolt and darth maul surviving , or reva , its all probably just willpower , so in short dark side healing is just being too angry to die lol

Because and this is something that comes across in the animation itself Sabine presents as somebody who might actually be obsessive compulsive. So her Tendencies speaking to herself as she was attempting to unlock the map are more a characterization as opposed to what you describe. And I say this as somebody who presents as being neurodivergent myself

Though I definitely made the cinematic connection/parallel with Top Gun ✈(when I watched it the first time), I didn't think of how well, "Danger Zone" works with Sabine Wren's ride to the Lothal Tower. And, that whole bit with Tony Soprano... 😉☺ It was an excellent 2-Part Premiere. One of Disney +'s best offerings, since its 2019 debut, and a great addition to The Mandoverse. I see why, after seeing this series, Kennedy and "the suits" gave Filoni a movie to release in theaters. It SUCKS that This Premiere wasn't released in theaters for everyone to see, this week...not just the special invites. According to Rosario Dawson, her favorite episode is, Part Five, which is also written and directed by Dave Filoni. Oh, baby...

This is off to a good start!! I absolutely loved it! I think I need to give Andor another chance because every says how good it was but I gave up after like 4-5 episodes because it just felt like nothing ever happened. Don’t get me wrong I can enjoy slow burn type stories (Game of Thrones, HotD, WandaVision, etc) but it has to have something that keeps my attention whether that’s the characters or some sort of really catchy hook to the plot at the beginning setting up events later on. But it just felt like it was all a bunch of set up with nothing ever really to move the plot forward. I mean things happened but they were so small and things I already knew were coming so it never really captured my attention. I practically had to force myself to watch. However I will say I think the acting, atmosphere, and cinematography were great from how far I got into it. Does it get more exciting?

Dante Andor TOO much reminded of what in my opinion is the worst of the Star Trek shows during the classic era, deep space 9. Which took five seasons to team a war Arc that they literally solve in an afternoon it's not even one half of the final episode that they are able to conclude this war that I am referring to. And yet it took five seasons to build up two and a season-and-a-half to have the actual War. Now like this series that I am referring to Andor does have some incredible moments but it takes an extremely long time to get to those moments. And I am saying that as somebody who really enjoys watching the extended editions of all six of Peter Jackson's films set in Middle-earth. So if I'm saying that it's long-winded you can definitely take that with a grain of salt
