There were lots of reasons, the High Septon at the time was a peaceful man, people were tired of fighting, Jaehaerys and his queen both had dragons which inspired fear, Jaehaerys sent speakers to win the hearts of the common people. I will get into it more in the next video.

It was supposed to be a 4 part series at the beginning, but I decided to make part 3 exclusively about the reign of Jaehaerys I, so the entire project got longer, I thought maybe 5 but now I know it needs 6.
