Lewis is lovely with fans, he gets a bad rep sometimes when he is quiet in interviews with the press but they tend to look for for an angle so who can blame him ? To me he is a very humble world champion who really comes into his own when he is crowd surfing over his fans at Silverstone. Well done Lewis, I'm ever so proud you are our British champ :)

Amazing what Mercedes does with Bottas and Hamilton for their fans... Emotional... I didn't like Hamilton last year, I found him a bit aggressive against Rosberg but this year, he's just incredible.. A lot of people don’t realise just what a decent down to Earth guy LH is. Whilst the world sees the megastar legend that is the one of the greatest drivers that ever lived, I remember the story about how when his parents split up, he decided to stay with his father because at that time he was Lewis’s coach/engineer/mentor/manager/father. This is the guy who slept on his father’s couch as he didn’t even afford to have his own bed let alone his own bedroom - during his teen years! One of the reasons that LH is sooo good in the wet is that during his karting days, his father couldn’t afford “wet” tyres so he had to learn how to drive in the wet with “dry” tyres. I think the same is true for Jensen Button as well. Seeing Lewis be so approachable to his fans young and old shows just how grounded he is. Guys like this make me proud to be British and shows that even if life is hard (as it is for so many people around the world) we have a society that allows a person to elevate him/herself to the great heights that Lewis has. All that’s needed is a bit of talent, hard work, dedication, more hard work, self belief, even more hard work and sacrifices. Great job Lewis - especially after the disappointment of last year. Keep going bruv and I’m sure WC #4 will be yours. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lewis Hamilton always my favorite F1 driver. When he started his F1 carrier as McLaren driver then, I never expected a rookie like him could provide his teammate and double world champion Fernando Alonso a run for his money. He almost won the world championship if not because of error in the last Brazilian GP. The following year, he became word champion already.

I love F 1. The day A. Senna had an accident, I was watching the. race with my son who was 18, suddenly A.S had a fatal accident, WE were SHOCKED, and I was in tears. We could do anything, we were praying for him because I knew that Senna was already finished and later he was declared dead. He shook the world.
