My ears perked up at "Watership Down graphic novel" because I bought one of the signed copies! I was so excited to receive it. The original novel was one of my very first novels I read as a teen.

You know those Ferrero Rocher things. Sort of nutty on the outside and then there is a shell but when you bite through it all, in the centre is the heart of the thing. None of these pieces make sense alone and in fact some of them just plain stick in your teeth. Yet the blend, the whole experience is lasting and leaves one wanting just one more. That's this video. A sweet bite, a sudden mixture of so much yet at the core a poem that so deliciously tells us everything about us and our God.

I live in Tennessee and have my whole life. I'm a student at Belmont university currently freshman year. great city though the explosion in population is a difficult Acclimation regarding the relatively smaller population I remember in my childhood. but you've seemed to have found a nice spot in the world. I hope I might be able to shake your hand some day Mr. Guite.

I had to laugh at first... As on first glance, I thought I saw the title say "How to spell Tennessee"! I laughed and saw that I misread. I love these sorts of video's. A proper study filled with books and bearded men with pipes. You can never go wrong with that. Glad you had a wonderful time.

Malcolm, I just had to say this. On Tuesday 22nd October my beautiful son Alfie passed away at the age of 19. He tried to take his own life last Friday and I hoped and prayed for him but sadly it wasn't enough. Even though he was so young, he was the man I wished I could have been. I loved him. Your videos have helped me so much over the last few days and I just want to thank you.

Oh David I’m so sorry for your loss. Of course you loved him and will keep loving him. I am praying for you both, that you will be sustained through your grief and that God’s searching love will find Alfie and bring him home to heaven that he might rest in peace and rise in glory
@davidrobinson2776Ай бұрын
@@MalcolmGuitespell Thank you Malcolm, thank you so much. I showed my wife your reply and we both were blown away. Alfie loved The Lord of the Rings but my wife wouldn't allow us to smoke a pipe. I know he's in heaven now and my faith which has wavered at times in my life, has been restored. I will, one day, see my beautiful boy again.

Thanks for sharing Malcolm! I’ve got a friend working on The Wingfeather Saga animated show right now, so very cool to see you two together! Any advice for a young man of the Lord wanting to get into a deeper study of literature and its intersection with faith? I intend to get a copy of your book Lifting the Veil very soon because I’m interested in your thoughts on imagination and its value as an engine of hope. But anyways, I’d love to hear about any good resources for the study of literature & faith if you have any! Or any advice from any other folks here as well who are more learned than I. Thanks very much!
