Not exactly. In this video, they are exorcising their past demons, the self doubt caused by all the haters telling them they couldn't do it, weren't good enough, were just girls, weren't Mexican enough, etc. And now that they have buried any self doubts, it's THEIR turn to haunt their haters with their every success. Choking on their names, indeed.

Agreed. My take on this video is that the evil spirit represents all the haters, their own fears and doubts, the people who called them Malinchistas for singing in English, everything that opposed them... and they buried that spirit with their hard work and success, and used the hate to make them stronger.

Pau and Aly are becoming one brain. It's incredible how they move each section of the song to the next, with Dany laying down chunky riffs and tasty runs into the spaces. Their compositions while still sounding simple and palatable are much more complex than the average listener realizes. Perfect for radio play and moving them forward while still satisfying "most" of us diehard rockers. I've heard that KMF premiered number one in a couple genres in the UK. They're gettin there....

That’s exactly the way I interpret this video as well. I struggled with the context initially of the last scene but eventually came to the same conclusion. During a lot of their interviews over the last couple of years they discuss the hardships they perceived in gaining acceptance from the industry, music critics or whomever. I think that it affected them more than they ever let on because that’s who they are as people. I’d like to think they revisited this topic to say while they acknowledge the trials and tribulations they experienced as they established themselves as a legitimate force in modern rock they’re now are putting it Six Feet Deep, so to speak, and only concentrating on what the future holds for them whether or not they have to drag some of TWA along with them.

These are some great interpretations of the song. I think you might be right. They are really putting those people in their place now. Through hard work and perseverance they are rising to the top.

I was curious why Ale was using her Inferno for the video as it is drop-A these days for Automatic Sun. But I see they play this song live with Dany's baritone Strat and Ales Inferno so drop-A again?. P.S. funny you mention people in the music industry thinking they are better than everyone, as this song is about "dealing with someone with a god-complex".

a Hard Rock "Power of Three" demon expulsion video with an eye opening _"The Sixth Sense"_ ending... this track is one _HELL_ of a powerful spell being cast to attract, expose, and expel those ancient hidden demons they have been fighting on their journey... the stuff all flying to, sticking to, and covering the demon, i look at as they had to completely enclose the demon to fully expose, define, and confine it for the expulsion spell to work... no part could be left uncovered or the demon would be able to return... so their spell wrapped the demon with everything like a containment field until it was tossed back into the pit... once there, the items could be returned since they were no longer needed to serve that purpose... i say "Power of Three" as a reference to the _"Charmed"_ TV show... also, have you seen the movie _"The Sixth Sense"_ ? if not, i highly recommended it! that story line fits in with what is happening in this OMV, too 😜 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

I love this as the opening track for the new album. Starts the album off *strong*. Loved the video as well, which I interpreted as their younger selves dreaming of the day when they'd made it, and were in a place where they were putting all of their critics and haters, and everyone who ever told them to shut up and go play with dolls into the metaphoric ground, and dance on the grave :) Pt. 3 of the F-Off Trilogy, following on after Narcisista and Animosity. I think that at the point where you actually *do* listen to the entire album, through a good set of headphones, you're going to gain an entirely different level of appreciation for how good the songs are. I was watching again, and seems they incorporated several horror movies. You have writing on the wall, similar to Redrum (check it reflected) from the Shining, then the TV from Poltergeist, pulling her to the ceiling I think might have been influenced from the Exorcist. I'm not a horror movie expert, but those three kind of stood out to me. The ending might have been from Bury the Living, maybe not. Might also have had a link to The Sixth Sense. Regardless, a pretty well produced video!

I remember being so scared I turned around in my seat, looking at everyone behind us. The guy right behind me was probably around 18-20. Evidently he realized I was frightened, and he took the time to talk quietly to me for several minutes, then said it would be ok to turn back around.
