Sometimes spirituality numbs you and detach you from reality which I just realised recently, looking at the world and seeing it as a bunch of dramas and unreal stories and when I meditate or detach I feel safe, but the reality is as a spiritual person I can’t detach myself from understanding what’s happening, I can’t take that passive situation because it will only empower the evil in the world.

This is true. So horrific what the "spiritual" people are talking. Turn your back. Don't care so much. Spread love. Everything is good and bad. Bla bla bla. No it's not. If you don't work to change the world for the good, it doesn't change. If you don't send money to feed the war refugees, they won't get fed. Of you don't help now, one day and bad guys they are behind your door, and then no one is gonna help you either.

I am in this dilemma right now. My heart burns for Palestinians and I am finding it hard how to integrate my spiritual views with what is happening

@@lalinera8279 I feel you and we are all going through a very dark time, but we need all to act and do something to stop this madness and call it for what it is. It’s a genocide and we need to do all what we can to stop. Each in their place, otherwise we will keep the oppressors get away with their crimes and this will affect us all as a collective
@Nad906

@@Wenixi exactly this narrative is only numbing us and can only feed the oppressors and help them grow. If you are truly spiritual human being you should act and take side with the victims, the native people of the land, it’s simple and clear. Isra-el was established on the bloodshed of the Palestinians. No one can deny that and they keep killing Palestinians and steal their lands for more than 75 years. We can’t use spirituality to take people’s attention away from these crimes. Let’s all stand up for what is right

It’s so wrong, just be careful that being spiritual doesn’t mean you don’t see the reality for what it is. You would still have your mind working and you can watch read and analyse and take side. Oversimplifying such a huge topic and choosing to look at it from above is just a defence mechanism, another ego you might unconsciously choosing to be above the pain and suffering of people. Even when you are a spiritual person you will able to see what’s right and what’s wrong, you would still see the victim and the perpetrator. You cant make them one just because you are higher spiritually than them, you can’t make them one or equal. Be careful of the ego you are forming unconsciously

What is right and what is wrong in the absolute sense? The universe does not take sides. But from our relative human perspective it is awful yes.
@Nad906
@Nad906 10 ай бұрын
The universe contains good and evil, but detaching ourselves from both good and evil and seeing them as one doesn’t help. We can still be spiritual and politically active. Meaning to join the good side of the story, to support the victim and weaken the perpetrator. This will keep the balance in the universe which keeps evolving until the good is more than the evil and emerges to a “new earth” or the kingdom of heaven where good is the ultimate goal.

@@RyanMolkentinBullshit. Tou have come to earth to experience the good and the bad in it's purest forms. And now you are trying to say there are no good and bad? You know that the universe consists of two forces, the light and the dark. You need to choose sides on earth and to be on the side of the good and the side of the suffering. You can't let the bad guys walk all over you like this. This is what they want you to do exactly... Not do anything and let them so bad.

I appreciate your perspective, and I know this is old maybe you feel differently now. But we must recognize the nuances of conflict, ideology, and motivations. To not be aware is simply ignorance. Inform yourself. If you were facing the levels of atrocities the Palestinians were facing, not just now but from the inception of the occupation, You'd realize pretty quickly what is morally correct and what is abhorrent and unjust. The universe contains all things and we are it's point of perspective. It's through our empathy, suffering, and wisdom can we can come to understand. Through connection, not disconnection. See Gaza, witness their deaths, their anguish. Learn about what the Israels do and say. There is a disruptive malignant force in the world that is causing and has caused suffering beyond our awareness. We have a responsibility to understand and bring it into our awareness for the purposes of our collective expansion

This is so refreshing, after weeks of religious and political pundits taking ten times as many words to say nothing. So clear, human and true! Thank you so much. 💮🌸🌹💚

I appreciate the intention here. I'm a little conflicted with the passivity towards immense human suffering. I don't say this as a critique to the speaker, more so as a person considering ideas to adopt. This one just doesn't resonate....

Thank you. This was helpful. I usually try to listen to Ram Dass's social action lecture when I get caught up in the drama of the world conflicts, but sadly that one was taken down.

I like the way you explain the topic and I completely agree with you But at a certain moment, a person must review himself and his morals It is illogical or reasonable to imprison or torture children and innocent people There is always a voice inside us telling us when something is wrong With a very simple study of the history of this conflict and how it began, you can clearly see the truth
@RyanMolkentin

Responding to this conflict and acting in a way that you see fit may be your dharma then! Which of course is fine :)

@RyanMolkentin I agree with you, Ryan, 100%. But you know, as someone who has spent her entire life in the Middle East, I can not be neutral. We grew up on scenes of violence and brutal attacks by the occupation against the Palestinians. My heart aches for every innocent person on both sides, even though I know this is part of their human journey But how innocent are you when you occupy and steal someone else's land? The Sabra and Shatila massacre is horrific to the point of chilling the body, and what is sad is that this is a small part of what has been happening since 1948 until now. Honestly, throughout my life, I have dealt with many Palestinians. The majority of them are old and brave souls. I always pray for world peace, but this is almost impossible because the majority of humanity does not want peace

Cool video, how do we make everyones Dharma to just accept each other? If that was the case, this war wouldn't happen.

I completely agree with you about the dharma and each side feeling justified brother. It is very obvious to want the good for the side you are born inti. But there is big difference in the way the two sides choose to act. You have one Palestinian terrorist group that has no boundaries . They kidnapped old women and little children. They kill innocent people . For years. Its not new. Now its just coming in big numbers. And the Israeli side always tries to be moral and just reacts to the terror by trying to kill the terrorists, not anybody that is different …

I hear you brother. Both sides can conjure up horrors the other does to them. Which side is worse often gets subjective and muddled. Different sides may commit atrocities at different times. Maybe one side just has more rules around when or how they kill. But I see your perspective.
